This is a bit upscale from your average restaurant and deservedly so. The decor and overall experience is very pleasant. The menu has many choices and having been there a number of times, I have never been disappointed. The service is very attentive and the value is extraordinary. They even make their own tortillas!!

I was a bit worried when I saw the parking lot full on a Thursday night. But the place has lots of seating... the 2 of us were seating in about 5 minutes. Salsa on the table was fantastic! The medium margarita was big and while not the best in the world.. was still good. I had the 'Anniversary Special'...... More

After a long day playing at Elitch Gardens, we retired to our hotel and asked about local restaurant favorites. We checked out three in the area before settling on La Loma, and we made a great choice. The sign outside said Mexican Fine Dining, and it was spot on. The place was elegant, the food was fresh, homemade, and delicious,... More

We moved outside of Denver last year and hadn't been to La Loma's since moving. Tonight we had the occasion to eat there at the request of my son and his wife to have a small celebration with them and one of our daughters. Prior to the move we had considered La Loma's the best Mexican restaurant in the Denver... More

Wonderful food, homemade tortillas! Service was wonderful. I had the 3 taco combination, delicious! The place was busy when we left. People were waiting for tables. Casual dress.

We enjoyed excellent service from a young waiter who went to great lengths to customize my chimichanga order. Everything was delicious, including a sopaipilla for dessert.

La Loma used to be one of my favorite restaurants. As a native New Mexican who grew up on Mexican cuisine, La Loma was certainly the best Mexican in Denver. Not any more though. The restaurant has taken an unfortunate turn for the worse. I was told they changed chefs recently, which has negatively impacted some of their classic recipes.... More

My Wife and I have been going to this restaurant since they opened at the small house a block from the present locations over forty (40) years ago to present. We are extremely disappointed how poor the quality of their food has gotten. They tell us they changed Chef's. We'll their new Chef need to learn how to prepare Mexican... More

I have not been to La Lomas In a year because we live far north in the Loveland area. But it has always been one of our favorites that only seams to get better over time. The seamed to have classed it up a bit more and the service and food was fantastic. The green chilli is always great and... More

We were on our way to a different restaurant when we passed La Loma. We caught a whiff of what they were cooking and decided to turn around and eat there instead. The food was exceptional, as well as the service that we received. Our server was attentive to our needs, filled our drinks when we were low, and was... More
