Great mexican food in a beautiful setting

I went to this spot for a professional organization happy hour after a meeting in Denver in mid June. We had some great appetizers and they have outstanding margaritas. They were very accommodating to our group!

A great family restaurant featuring southwestern type Mexican food. Excellent queso. Their speciality dinners are some of the best options. Large children's selection.

Don't know how this place food was. We arrived and as we observed they an open section and thought we could be seated immediately, but to our surprise we were told 45 min. So we left very disappointed. All I have to say is BAD BUSINESS!!!

I generally do not like Mexican restaurants. La Loma was recommended by a nearby motel. Wonderful surprise! The food was carefully and well prepared, and nicely served. We brought others there and they were equally pleased.

I've been going to La Loma for nearly 30 years. The owners connected two old houses to create the restaurant, and it has a lot of character. The menu hasn't changed much (other than the prices going up a little) and neither has the food. And that's a very good thing. They serve really excellent fajitas and the salsa is... More

I have eaten lunch here twice now and dinner once. Dinner was this week, and it was wonderful. Our server was great, did not rush us, gave us samples to try of the green chili sauce with their freshly made flour tortillas, and was so cheerful and friendly that we felt very welcome. Our standard for Mexican food is cheese... More

I enjoyed the combo steak and chicken fajitas - very much! Tip:the portion sizes are large, and you might want to share one serving. My advice is live large - without becoming large.

La Loma is an inexpensive restaurant, but the food is really first rate. The ambiance of the place is very much a neighborhood, rather than upmarket one, but the whole eating experience there is just first rate. Take your friends.
