The original location was at 1527 Curtis Street in the heart of downtown Denver. On Sept. 28th, 1998, Sam’s son, Spero, with his grandsons Sam, Alex, and Patrick, re-established his most famous of the Coney Islands restaurants, Sam’s No. 3™. In honor of the age old tradition, they made a promise to each other to continue to provide excellent quality of food and embrace the inviting, warm atmosphere started by “Mr. Sam” more than 75 years ago!In April 2011, our little kitchen was featured on Food Networks "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". Don't miss this diner

A GREAT diner with excellent food and amazing service. Had the eggs, potatoes and toast with coffee in under 15 minutes and for only $6. Thanks!

My wife and I looked around the Buell complex for someplace to eat and this was one of the places that came up. It looked interesting. It is a classic diner with great food. Visiting from out of state we had to try this place since seeing it on the Food Network. I wasn't at all impressed with anything. The food was about average nothing special about it. I had the $12.99 chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and veggies. Everything was pretty much your average food, the steak was the frozen prepackaged. Service... More

Menu has a great variety, something for everyone! The service was quick. Portion are plentiful. We visited for dinner, but their breakfast menu looked amazing. Next time I am in Denver, I will definitely be having breakfast at Sam's No 3.
