small hole in the wall. Great food. Authentic so I'm told. Really enjoyed the coffee afterwards. Inexpensive.

Everything from the lovely staff to the authentic food is perfect. We went with a native Ethiopian student and let her order for us. We had no clue what we were eating but it was so delish, we cannot wait until our next trip to Denver to try some other dishes. Clean, decent prices and a wonderful time all around.

Our first experience with Ethiopian food. We came early and they opened for our group. Our two experienced diners directed us through the selection of foods for our large platter. The hand food method of eating worked better than anticipated and the platter took us through an interesting journey of new tastes. It was surprising how quickly the food disappeared... More

Visited this restaurant as a couple, and thought the food was quite good. The experience was marred, however, by several things that this restaurant could easily fix. Firstly, the arrangement of the menu. Nearly all of the dishes are available, a la carte, on one side of the menu, with vegetarian combinations on the other side. We wanted to have... More

This restaurant was half a block from our house on Fillmore street back when we lived in Denver. The food is authentic Ethiopian and this was the first of many Ethiopian restaurants in Denver. If you've never had Ethiopian food, try it here! Be patient, as Naguzzi, his wife and son and a long time cook from Latin America are... More

We were a bit concerned when the cab pulled up to the building as it looked quite shabby, but once we got inside and sat down those fears receeded. The restaurant is well supported by locals so they must be doing something right! The menu is a bit limited, but we got a reasonable variety if dishes to share. Food... More

We love it here! Like many Ethiopian Restaurants, the hours its open can be hit or miss, but the food is wonderful and totally worth the hassle. The staff are charming and always happy to make recommendations. I always order large sample platters at Ethiopian restaurants, so that the whole table can sample all the veggie dishes and one or... Not the prettiest restaurant, but clean. The menu is quite limited. They include the same two vegetables with every main entree and won’t allow you to substitute, even if you’re ordering several entrees to share with friends. But the food is excellent and the portions are huge, which is what really matters in the end.
