Finally, a coonsistently excellent Mexican restaurant

You cannot have a bad meal at La Fogata. We really like the one off Quincy and Tamarac. But the one on Evans and Holly is nice too. Try the giant shrimp cocktail for two with avocados and cilantro; more like a civeche. Superb. The service is fast and friendly; the margaritas divine and the... read more

We had a large group and the service was great and the food was good… it was hot and spicy…just like the name implies! If you are needing to eat Gluten Free….be aware that there is not much here to eat. I had a grilled chicken salad without dressing. Should have asked for no seasoning on the chicken, I think... I find the food and service here consistently good. Whether super crowded or slow the service is fast and friendly and the food comes out hot and fast. Recently had the guacamole salad followed by the chili rellenos. Great guac! Large portion. Very good rellenos with rice and beans.

Let me preface this review by saying that I asked for recommendations for a Mexican restaurant at the hotel I am staying at. The front desk clerk, or whatever her position is, told me that La Fogata was "authentic Mexican". Her exact words were "authentic Mexican". So my expectations were set artificially high. When I got to the restaurant, one... More

We enjoyed lunch here for the first time. The location is rather different as it is not like a normal restaurant. it is below some upstairs businesses. The food is tasty, served at a reasonable wait time. The staff is friendly and experienced. They offer a kids menu for the young people. The décor is simple and appears to have... More

I am blown away by the amazing service standards at this restaurant. LOTS of wait staff- lots of attention. EXCELLENT salsa with the chips- so delicious and definitely homemade, original. The food is very good as well. Large menu. Love love this place. And its conveniently located exactly halfway between Glendale and the Southern part of the tech center- if... More

We've never had to wait, food is good and all the wait staff helps out. We had 3 different people bring us water and ask if we needed anything, the person who took our order come back and check how our food was and also someone came to take our card to run for the check and asked if everything... Definitely one of the things I miss the most after moving away from Denver... La Fogata near the Denver Tech Center was one of our favorite places. Margaritas on the patio in the summertime or nestled into a booth to watch a winter storm. I miss my cinco suave and all of the fine folks we came to know over... More

Had lunch at the E. Quincy location on a busy Friday at noon and they got us seated immediately. The servers were on us within minutes and checked on us at least six times throughout the meal. The chip taste was nice and not oily, the salsa was rich pure and not too hot. I had the Mole con Pollo.... More
