We have eaten here three times. The service is awesome, great drinks, nice/fun atmosphere, and the chips and salsa are amazing. However, I feel that my entrees are just okay. I have tried the burritos and a shrimp and rice platter that were just okay. Perhaps I haven't found my entree yet. Prices are also good.

My grandmother and I went here with my two year old son for a late lunch. This was the first time I hadn't seen this place packed. We sat in the sunroom area and watched the rain come down which was awesome. The decor is gorgeous with dark wood tables and chairs with lovely accents. I ordered the veggie burrito... More

Great mexican food. I ordered just the chicken quesadilla and it was great. My co-worker also enjoyed his meal, but I don't remember what it was. We ate inside as it was raining but the atmosphere was good and the service was great. Quick food and it tasted great.

La Fogata happens to be nearby so I have eaten there quite a few times mostly at lunch but also for happy hour & dinner. The patrons tend to be upper middle class from the area evenings, and Denver Tech Center professionals at lunch. The prices are average, the food is consistent and good, service is usually good but can... More

My husband and I had passed La Fogata on Evans multiple times. We finally decided to try it a couple of weekends ago. We sat down and were immediately served fresh chips and salsa which was some of the best salsa I have tasted in a Denver restaurant. My husband ordered the fajitas and they were very tasty. I had... Everything is good here. Especially the seafood. Good happy hour 3-6 on drinks and food. Great patio.

This is our neighborhood restaurant. Our family walks over about once a month to get our fix. The food is consistently good and the servers are consistently friendly. Their house salsa is very good (fresh, a hint of cilantro, and the mild heat allows one to appreciate the tomatoes without overwhelming them with heat) and I especially enjoy the carnitas.

Simple and delicious Mexican food at a family run business. Free chips and salsa, and generous portions of food. I Seis, a combination plate of ground beef taco, cheese enchilada, guacamole tostada and a Chile relleno, with rice and refried beans. My wife raved about the grilled fish tacos which come with a special mustard sauce and a tomatillo salsa.... More

Although there were very few reviews on this restaurant for the most part they were positive. The restaurant itself seemed fine, the staff was courteous enough, but that's the best of it. The menu said award winning fajitas, not sure what award that would have been. They looked old, overcooked, and were flavorless. My kids had a taco and a... More

It's been a long time since we went to La Fogata. We had considered this restaurant to be on our "No!" List. Food at that time was bad, second only to the service. However, that location has long since closed. The one on Quincy Ave is the re-birth. And what a good addition to the local mexican restaurant scene it... More
