We happened to be in Denver for the weekend, and wanted some Indian food. This was in Cherry Creek and convenient to where we were. I didn't think much about the place upon entering, but I was surprised again and again. GET A COVERED BOOTH!!!! I forget what they called them, but they converted the booth into a kneeling table,... My wife and I ate here for lunch on a weekday this week while visiting Denver, being hungry for some flavorful Indian food. The menu offered a nice variety and prices were comparable to what we have seen in other Indian restaurants. We chose the noon buffet, which was very reasonably priced. The buffet was modest, somewhat fewer choices than... More

I ate lunch here earlier this month while in town on business. The food is average Indian cuisine, but it is pricey. I didn't eat from the buffet but rather ordered a la carte with a Groupon that I had. They should probably charge 25% lower prices for the quality of their food.

After searching for whole 3 years We finally got a restaurant which could stand up to our expectation of serving Indian food . Being an indian its really pathetic to go for a meal in Denver Indian restaurants . In fact we stopped eating Indian outside . But Bombay clay oven came as savior . We throughly loved the flavorful... More

A friend from the area suggested we meet him for lunch before we fly out so my wife and I met him. Having never had Indian food before I didn't know what to expect. He suggested the buffet for the variety. It was great he knew what dishes were what (spicy, sweet, what the ingredients were ect.). Overall a great... More

A Wednesday evening dinner at Bombay Clay Oven did not disappoint. We were immediately greeted by a pleasant server into a lovely and serene atmosphere of immaculately clean white tablecloths, which were not covered by glass. The napkins were beautifully displayed on a table setting with attention to detail. We received a food menu, as well as a separate drink... More

I ate the buffet, rather than testing the restaurant by ordering one of my favorite dishes. The buffet was uninspiring. The saag was the best, despite there being two tandoori dishes, a restaurant specialty, neither of which were adequately spiced. Generally, the dishes were bland. The variety was not so great (given the lack of spice of everything). You can... More

Have been here twice in the past year and I doubt we'll be back. The atmostphere is nice and they have a large menu, but the service is rather subpar and the food is so-so. I'm certain there is better Indian in Denver.

The food was really great. The personnel was very friendly the overall service was really great. It actually was the first indian restaurant that I've tried so far where the food was not spicy (hot). The sauceses were great and we had a nice everning at this restaurant.

It was the 4th of July and we were taking a good friend from Denver out to dinner. Most of the area was preparing for the Arts and Craft Show which would open on the 5th of July. We wanted to dine at the Italian Restaurant but it was closed. With chance good luck we found the Bombay Clay Oven.... More
