We're from "up-north" in the Rockies of Montana, sothis was something a little different for us. Food selection was excellent. Meal was delicious and at a reasonable price. Service was excellent. I'd recommend eating there.

This is a pleasant restaurant, but like most chains. I will say, however, that the cornbread is very good and we had good service. The food was good, but nothing exceptional.

The name eludes to down home cooking, but way exceeds expectations. You are greeted by a most charming greeter who is well aware of this little jewel. The country fried steak is ample, tasty, and cooked to order. The squash dressing is to die for! The sweet tea is legit. If you loved fresh baked yeast rolls, then you will... More

I used to live in Littleton, CO many yrs ago, and the Black Eyed Pea was one of my favorites for a "home cooked" meal with friends or family. We ate there a lot! I am not sure if the Littleton one still remains there or not, as we stay on the other side of Denver when we visit. My... More

My friend and I decided to split a wonderful salad. It was fresh and flavorful. We both enjoyed it very much. We each had a margarita, perfectly prepared by our wait person, who was pleasant and efficient. The time of day was early afternoon so it was not busy. We received great attention.

From the moment we arrived the greeter was so personable and friendly, we knew we picked a good restaurant. Our waitress was awesome , the food was wonderful. The menu has so much variety and had a abundance of choices, and very reasonably priced. We will be back!

Easy walk from hotel and during a long road trip, I wanted green vegetables. It's a chain restaurant serving quickly prepared comfort food and honey for your rolls. A good choice.

This is an old restaurant that's been around for yeArs and slowly has failed all over America! I was traveling here In Denver and had to check it out only because I used to eat here when I was a child. Service was great but I believe the food is very bland and tasteless! I think they are so used... More

Very good American restaurant with good value. People are helpful and friendly. Decor is warm and inviting. We had a mixture of many foods and all were good. The rib eye steak had some fat but still tasty. The turkey dinner looked real good and they said it was tasty. Nice menu and good bang for your buck. Location was... More

Our nieces liked the warm bread (soft and served with honey). We prefer crusty breads, but normally like southern foods. My first job was in NOLA, and I like the red beans and rice special, served on Mondays in neighborhood restaurants. The product served at Black Eyed Pea is very hot and over-spiced from my experience and in my opinion.... More
