Description: The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun! Incomplete parties will not be sat until complete.

Hapa Sushi is a small chain based in Boulder and Denver, Colorado. I have eaten most often at the Cherry Creek location but more recently at the restaurant in downtown (LoD) Denver. Reasonably priced sushi and GREAT service.

We ate here our first night in Denver, and decided to return the following night because it was so good. We really enjoyed the Ruby Red & XXX Rolls. Very natural ingredients without all the mayo based sauces and drizzles. The drink menu is very creative as well. The service was great and the atmosphere outside was great. A must... More

Many wonderful and unique rolls. The best offering in July was a Hamachi, cucumber, jalapeño roll . . . Simply refreshing!

The food was great and very fresh. I had sushi and sashimi. Service could improve somewhat. There are some unusual and creative sushi rolls on the menu and I had some questions about the menu. Took a while for wait staff to get to me so I could ask, then order. The restaurant was not busy.

We wanted a light lunch and stopped in Hapa Sushi. They have great sushi that is very reasonably priced. We wanted to try something new and had the Statue of Liberty which has apples in it. It was very refreshing. We also tried another roll that included lobster tempura and asparagus. It was really delicious, although the pieces were huge... More

Hapa is situated on the north part of the Cherry Creek shopping district. We visited this place on a hot day and we could sit outside, along the street. The food was great. We know when we get good Unagi!
