The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun! Incomplete parties will not be sat until complete.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a sushi bar in Colorado, after all, it's not on the coast (;-) This restaurant is located in a dining hub, alongside places like Ted's. If you're going for the sushi, save your money and go somewhere else because it's expensive and not that great. There are tons of other sushi places with much better sushi for the same amount of money. As an avid sushi eater, I do not recommend this place if you're looking for great sushi.

We had lunch at the bar downstairs. It was terrific. One day later we returned for dinner upstairs. The meso was too salty; we returned it. The green tea couldn't be drunk. The waiter did a lot of flirting with female employees, but couldn't get anything right. The manager was so embarrassed, she did not charge us for dinner and... More

By far, the best sushi based food I've ever had. Every time friends or family visit, I take them here and they always ask to come back the next time in town. Wonderful food and people. Fantastic Happy Hour Deals as well, the 2 rolls for $7 deal is impossible to beat.

Honestly I probably wouldn't be giving this place a poor review had my situation been handled differently. I found a hair wrapped up in my roll. The waitress was apologetic as well as the manager and gave us new rolls. I get it...things happen. However I believe that the manager should have comped our roll and or offered to pay... More

Wonderful service in an upscale style of restaurant, while keeping pricing fair. Parking nearby, either street meter or parking garage. Fast service and great sushi. Excellent place to visit in Denver.

There was a lot to like about our visit to Hapa Sushi. The Pokedon with Ahi and the salmon and avocado roll were both good, but my favorite was the Mork and Mindy roll. The restaurant had a full bar, and it even had some great beer choices on draft. The prices are very reasonable for fish of this quality,... More

Four business associates into Napa for Sake and Sushi. Roll menu and fish selection is impressive. Lot of great Sake and the staff was very attentive and informed on both the fish and Sake. It was well worth the visit and a good place for a business meeting as the noise level was fairly low. I'd return

First I want to say that everything that we had was excellent but, I had a lot of trouble finding things to order. Several of the things that looked good were baked! I had sashimi that was terrific, the edamame was very good and the roll that we did find was very good. I have just been used to many... More
