Would have rated Excellent, but ,,,

We had a very nice evening at Luca. Ambiance delightful, extensive Italian wine list (very useful sommelier advice), and gracious, attentive service. We shared Sicilian calamari, tangy and simmered in its tomato, caper broth - not deep fat fried. Also shared a baby lettuce salad with layers of... read more

We had a very nice evening at Luca. Ambiance delightful, extensive Italian wine list (very useful sommelier advice), and gracious, attentive service. We shared Sicilian calamari, tangy and simmered in its tomato, caper broth - not deep fat fried. Also shared a baby lettuce salad with layers of taste, yet lightly dressed. My wife enjoyed her divers scallops - rich.... More

Ate here as part of a large group. We chose off a menu that was selected for us so choices were less than the normal menu. All the food was excellently prepared and presented. I took the dessert to go as the food was rich and filling. Silverware changed with every course - quite unusual.

I live in Denver and have been going to Luca d'Italia for years. It was excellent when it first opened, then slipped a bit, and is now working its way back up. I had visitors from New York City, and I wanted to show off one of Denver's better restaurants. As always, the menu was creative. The food was prepared... More

After attending an art exhibit, we intended to go to a nearby restaurant only to find it full. Someone there suggested Luca's down the block which did have open tables. We did not order any of their main courses but did have appetizer, salads, and pasta dishes. All were good but hard to really comment on their food with only... More

This place was excellent!! The service is top notch & the food was amazing.mI had Wild Boar because I had never seen it on a menu before, so I had to try it. Cheese & Salami board was too good as well. I didn't recognize much on the wine menu so I relied on the Somalia, & what a great... More

While researching restaurants for my trip to Denver, I came upon this restaurant. The owner was nominated for a James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurateur. I knew that Luca was the place for me. Our dining experience at Luca was fantastic. Delicious food (every course), perfect service, and a great atmosphere - it doesn't get any better than this. I... More

Don't turn up expecting spaghetti bolognese, this is an Italian restaurant with a small menu of very different take on Italian food, such as wild boar, trout etc.

Our GNO group made a reservation for Restaurant Week. The ambience was very nice, plenty of spaces between tables and an excellent wait staff. We ordered one special and then shared other items on the menu. The pasta was very good, portions were small; just enough for a bite each. We enjoyed the evening and the tastes of very well... More

We went here for restaurant week and it's definitely one of Denver's finer and more expensive restaurants. It was a great pick, but the antipasti and desserts were nothing to write home about and at this price point borderline disappointing. Secondi was very nice but at regular price I am not sure I would have felt it was worth it.... More
