While researching restaurants for my trip to Denver, I came upon this restaurant. The owner was nominated for a James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurateur. I knew that Luca was the place for me. Our dining experience at Luca was fantastic. Delicious food (every course), perfect service, and a great atmosphere - it doesn't get any better than this. I... More

Don't turn up expecting spaghetti bolognese, this is an Italian restaurant with a small menu of very different take on Italian food, such as wild boar, trout etc.

Our GNO group made a reservation for Restaurant Week. The ambience was very nice, plenty of spaces between tables and an excellent wait staff. We ordered one special and then shared other items on the menu. The pasta was very good, portions were small; just enough for a bite each. We enjoyed the evening and the tastes of very well... More

We went here for restaurant week and it's definitely one of Denver's finer and more expensive restaurants. It was a great pick, but the antipasti and desserts were nothing to write home about and at this price point borderline disappointing. Secondi was very nice but at regular price I am not sure I would have felt it was worth it.... More

Just finishing a delicious dinner at Luca d'Italia. Dining alone, I sat at the bar. Service was excellent. And, while Luca was fairly busy on a Wednesday night, the noise in the restaurant was only moderate, at the loudest, nice. Small, but tasty selection of wines by the glass. It would be nice if they added a few more Italians,... More

We went for our anniversary. We both did the four course meal with wine paring. Overall, the food was good and the wine selections were excellent. However, the service was only average when the servers finally showed up, which wasn't very often. The arrival of the wine and food was always miss timed. Awkward waits for food or wine grew... More

I went to eat at Luca yesterday for my birthday. What a bad food at an outrageous price... People who know Italian food will not consider this Italian cusine (I am from Europe and lived in Italy for a while). Applebee's makes better pasta. Everything was overloaded with salt - from the bread and butter to my salad and my... More

M y husband took me here to celebrate my birthday this year. It is one of the better meals we have had since moving to Denver. We got seated at a quiet table and they brought us a glass of Proseco (I got a glass of ginger ale since I am 7 months pregnant) for a toast. The waiter was... More

Went last night with 3 couples. The food is sooo good - we all were feeling like we'd left Denver and were in a city known for more than great steaks. Tuna was easily best I've had in Denver. Wine choices were extensive - we had an amazing Amarone. Overall, top experience and expensive, for the usual Denver meal. Put... More
