Ribs soooo Good!

It has been a couple of years since we visited this place. What I remember were those tasty ribs! Our daughter had been to Mead Street Station recently and recommended that we try the restaurant at lunch after returning from DIA to her house in Littleton. This is a terrific little restaurant in a great inner city historic walking area. The ceilings are high. The sports bar decor is dark wood with cozy booths. Heather and I had the... More

This restaurant offers a good variety of bar type food ncoudimg, sandwiches, salads and larger entrees. The service is usually reasonably quick and the wait staff checks in with you fairly frequently. I like the house salad with blackened chicken but beware the blackened seasoning is quite hot. The Berbers are deniably good and the sweet potato fries are my go... More

There were eight of us meeting here around 1 p.m. on a Sunday to say farewell to our brother and sister-in-law. My husband and I arrived about twenty minutes after the rest of the party. They had already ordered their food. The restaurant wasn't very busy and there were more than enough servers on (I'm in the food industry). We... More

Mead Street Station competes successfully with several other OUTSTANDING Highlands eateries. Great location in the Highlands, really great and friendly waitstaff, a menu splattered with unique offerings (fried green tomatoes, poutine), GREAT staples (Excellent burgers and the Best Fish & Chips in town!) that have been designed and crafted by a passionate and talented proprietor/chef. Is there more one could... More

Good food, good service, a little loud indoors. Neighborhood place. Lots of choices around the area, but we selected this place and were pleasantly surprised.

While eating the meal I thought I really liked this restaurant but realized today that I wouldn't order any of it again. We split some sandwiches because they sounded interesting - the Pear Melt which was better with the chutney spread on it and the Portobello Sandwich. I might order the insides of the portobello sandwich again but not the... More

This fairly small bar-restaurant combo is nestled among a number of other small stores in Highlands Square part of Denver. It is on 32nd Ave just east of Mead so hence the name. On street parking worked OK though not much available during our lunch visit. We found the menu online and it looked promising so our group of four... More

We were exploring the Highlands area and dropped in to check out the menu and have a beverage. Found the bartender fabulously friendly and accommodating. We decided on a Pear Melt added ham and it was delicious. Had fried green tomatoes, as good or better than many restaurant attempts in my southern home state. Sweet potato fries were good as... Mead Street became our go to bar while staying in the Highlands area of Denver. They have good cocktails and a pretty good list of craft beers. The service was great&the food is really good bar food. We enjoyed the wings-they are small bc they are non-gmo but the seasoning is great and the dipping sauces excellent. I highly recommend... More
