Beer me

Great beers on tap and ready and get ready for an afternoon on the patio in downtown as you watch everyone stroll by the historic and rehabbed LODO in Denver...just across from Union Station and two blocks from the great 16th street mall.

When we visit a tap room or a brewery tops on our list is a friendly staff and friendly bartenders. Beer quality is also important and a good facility and ambiance. Starting with the good. Great old building. Beer was OK. But the staff was not OK. Not at all friendly. No chit-chat. Seemed impatient. Would not return and we... More

The food was great - I had the pastrami sandwich and I quite honestly think it might have been the best I've ever had. Their beer selections are pretty eclectic - and skewed a bit toward the hoppy end of the beer spectrum. I think the variety is wide enough that most any beer drinker will find something to their... We loved everything about this place. The building, location (near Union Station), food, and beer. We will definitely return next time we are in Denver!

Neat place to come and have a drink before a Rockies game. They have 20 plus local beers to choose from.

Every time I'm in Denver I try to stop by Wynkoop. On top of the great drafts, the food is quite tasty. Most of the time I opt for the Green Chili which I highly recommend. Today I had the avail Yard Ale which is always good as well.

We had a group event and the they had cordoned off an area on the second floor. Not being a beer drinker I thought they had a nice and varied wine selection. It was a bit hot but they had a large fan circulating air. There are pool tables and other games to play. The food was fine for a... More

This place has great beer in historic downtown Denver. The beer was cold on a warm July Friday and hit the spot. While we just stopped in for a pint, the food looked delicious. Will have to try that next time we're in Denver.

This was our favourite place to eat in Denver. It was relaxed, friendly service. Food was very good and plenty of choice of healthy dishes to choose from. Another plus was the great beer my husband enjoyed!

Pleasant experience at Wynkoops. Food was good. Avoid the beer cheese - runny and not that great. Pastrami sandwich was excellent. For the beer, solid throughout. Avoid the sampler! They charge $3.25 per 1/3 pint. That's just ridiculous. Pick a style you like for $5 a pint and even if you switch to 2 different pints you're up on the... More
