Description: Carmine's was opened in 1994. Shannon purchased Carmine's in August of 2005 and was joined by operating partner Brad in 2006. Together, they have given Carmine's a facelift featuring artwork by local artist Kerry Kice who adorned our old building's interior with murals and artistic paint touches. We have both been fans of Carmine's since the beginning so our changes are modest as we seek to keep the real flavor that has been so popular. Thank you for your support today and through our history.

This place has to be the best Italian. Food I have eaten in my 42 years on the planet. My husband asked our waiter (Anthony) what he would order if he were taking his lady friend out to dinner there. He said we should start with the mussels, then the spinach salad and finally the chicken piccata. Well he did... More

If you're looking for a good family style Italian restaurant, it's by far the best in Denver. I highly recommend giving it a try.

We just returned home for a wonderful evening at Carmine's on Penn and felt that I should share my excitement for this restaurant. I had arranged for a birthday dinner for 16 people and made a reservation a week in advance the one of the partners/manager (Brad) immediately called me to make arrangements. He could not have been more accommodating... More

We had dinner here and it was good, but for the price it should have been fantastic. Yes it's family style, but $20.00 for salad is a bit much. $40.00 for a few pieces of veal parmesan is crazy. Plus, a man at the next table talked loudly and non stop. He used the F word more than once. It... More

Had the oppportunity to visit Carmine's when visiting my daughter in Denver. She took me here for father's day. First off, the service was very good. The young many who waited on us took time to explain all the dishes in detail. The food itself is served family style and is very good. The salad was enough to fill you... More

Carmine’s has been a staple italian place to go for many years. Its quaint decor and chalk-board menu are perfect! Service is always great and very friendly. Food is served family-style, and each entree is enough for dinner for two or a serving for three or four if sharing multiples. Fantastic for dates or parties with outside covered seating. If... More

We arrived without a reservation on a rainy night and were treated like family! The food is freshly prepared, served family-style and is plentiful! My family of 4 ordered only a tureen of the soup of the day (potato, leek, pancetta), a pasta dish (Carbonata), and Chicken Carmine (breasts of chicken topped with prosciutto then covered with melting cheese, Mmmmmm....... Went there for a birthday celebration. Larger party. This is perfect place for groups. Family style Italian recipes, served in large portions typically enough for 4-5 people per platter. We had a seafood pasta and a vodka cream sauce pasta as well as a chicken marsala, all traditional but all excellent. Service was laid back but attentive. Wine list has... More
