We were staying at the Monaco hotel and this is the restaurant attached to it, We have been disappointed by hotel restaurant before. However we only had breakfast there but the Egg benedict were the best we ever had! The recipe was out of the ordinary and delicious. Highly recommended if you stay there. Staff was excellent and the room... More

This place is way overpriced for what it is. Our server was inattentive but we did have support staff that at least kept our waters filled and plates removed. However, we finished our bottle of wine and would probably have ordered another or at least a glass with our meal, but we never saw our server before the meals showed... More

I write this review primarily to single out, Ron, our server at Ponzano's in April. He was kind, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and offered excellent suggestions. Because of this my husband and I chose not to point out the poor quality of our lamb dish -- tough and fat. Our other dishes were fine. We did not wish to spoil our... More

In my meal only one or two moments stood out. The squid appetizer was unique and flavorful. The butterscotch dessert, as my waiter suggested, was spectacular and layered with many complimenting tastes. The rest of the meal, however, was not memorable Italian food.

There's not a lot more to be said other than this is hands down the best brunch I've ever eaten. I had the 'Panzano' eggs Benedict which is; Two poached eggs served over a sun-dried tomato polenta cake layered with prosciutto cotto, pickled roasted tomatoes, and fontina cheese, topped with prosecco hollandaise, served over basil pesto. I also opted for... More

We came here with some friends visiting from Boston to celebrate two birthdays in the group. First, the atmosphere is not that of a typical Italian eatery - the lights were bright and it wasn't very cozy. It took us about 15 minutes to get our first round of drinks. Wwe ordered appetizers and then had completely finished them and... More

We've been to Panzano a number of times over the years. Most recently to celebrate a family event over lunch. I'm glad to report that the room is still welcoming and comfortable, the service still impeccable, and the food wonderful. I had a caramelized banana French toast (I usually go savory more than sweet, but this looked great on the... More

Hard to describe how great our food and service experience was here. Visiting from NYC and staying at the Hotel Monaco in which Panzano is located. Room service breakfast of their "modern eggs benedict" has to be one of the most wonderful things I have ever tasted. setting poached eggs on top of crispy pancetta, sundried tomato polenta, and fresh... I had a meal here alone and I sat at the counter by the open kitchen. It was fun to watch them prepare the food items. Also I got to thank them personally for my food. I had the Brussels sprouts appetizer. It was great, but by eating an entire huge portion I had a taste of bitterness in my... More

I picked Panzano to celebrate my birthday. We had to book a later reservation, as we had dinner after a 7:00 pm show at the Buell theater. Our reservation was at 9:15, but arrived a little late at 9:30 as the show ran a little longer than anticipated. The hostess stand was vacant and we waited about 5 minutes to... More
