The food and flavors at Taita are absolutely amazing! I crave their Vegetales Saltados like no other dish I've ever had anywhere. My office is only a few blocks away, so I've visited numerous times. The food is hands-down five star worthy. But I do have to give only four stars for their erratic wait times. I've been in there... More

A great experience at a restaurant, for me, is always bigger than just the food. However, here, the ambiance, staff, menu, and food were all equally amazing. The decor has plenty of character, the staff is pleasant and expedient, the cevechie is great and my meal (Frijiloes con Seco) was a perfect combination of Peruvian palates! I would highly recommend... More

I had been reading that Peruvian food has become very eclectic so I was looking for a Peruvian restaurant to try on our trip to Denver. Taita had consistent good reviews. The restaurant is small but cozy with 2 gas fireplaces. On a side street off Colfax but easy to locate. The menu is different that what is listed on... More

My friend and I went here after finding an awesome Travelzoo deal. The ceviche was fabulous and our waitress was very friendly. However, the crab cakes weren't my favorite and my friend's steak wasn't cooked to her liking. But the atmosphere was really fun and the live music was great. We will likely give it another try. Oh, just don't... More

We have been here three times, all three times we have been happily surprised by the small crowd. We have tried many fish dishes! The civiche is fresh and tender! Strongly suggest trying these guys out.

This is not a restaurant you will drive by and find. It is just far enough off of Colfax to be missed. Don't miss! The food was excellent and the atmosphere very pleasant. My only ding would be that the service was slow, just a little to slow to qualify as a well timed meal. The appetizers we had were... More

We came here to try a different place. We love ceviche and, unfortunately, the restaurant ran out of it before we arrived. We had to be happy with the rest of the menu. I had the Pisco Sour that was splendid. The mussels were very good and the crab cakes were OK. The best that we ordered was the arroz... More

I didn't know what ceviche was before visiting this place and now I am constantly thinking about it! The cuisine in this peruvian restaurant is simply phenomenal! Easily one of the best restaurant I ever tried! The service is very good, the food is fantastic, and the place itself is very nice inside. They also have live music sometimes.

This was by far the best (non-homemade) Ceviche in town for sure. Real fish, fresh, perfect seasoning. I wish the servings where bigger. I almost ordered a 2nd.

We recently visited Peru so wen Living Social offerer a discount to this Peruvian Reataurant in Capitol Hill area of Denver, we snapped it up. The mango Pisco sour was delicious as was the ceviche dish & a wonderful creamy dish topped with seafood called Sailor Tacu Tacu. We'll come back! Yum!
