Loved it!! The food, the building, the staff all an A+. The food was fresh, local, and hip. I had the curry soup and the lamb sliders, both out of this word. They have a $30 full three course dinner menu on Sunday nights, what a deal. We walked out feeling great about the food and great that this meal... More

At Denver airport without a reservation. They did get us seated quickly. The wait for the food was a bit lengthy and we had to have our dinners boxed up. The lamb burgers were ok. I have had better. I would like to give it a try again when I am not in a hurry. The wait staff were a... More

Great food and for a good price. Actually expected to spend more. Got the country fried tofu and the lamb sliders!

Make a reservation. Great food and it was very impressive. Loved the drink selection and the area of town was really hip. Loved eating here and will go back when I visit Denver. They were very accommodating with my questions for a gluten free diet. So much on the menu was up for grabs! Go!

The three course Sunday dinner is an excellent deal for $26.50. They offer three choices for each course. Great food - easy to eat gluten free, dairy free or vegan. There wasn't a GF DF option on the Sunday night menu option so they substituted with item on regular menu (which you could order from if you don't want Sunday... More

Absolutely top notch staff, food, drinks, and atmosphere. An overall incredible experience. Best of all, though, was that they're serving REAL food. No processed or shortcut dishes. They made gluten free, organic, local, and/or dairy free considerations in every preparation.

All the other good reviews cant be wrong. We stopped there on a epic drive from Aspen to Denver in a snow storm. Loved the dinner, We had their prix fix 3 course offer - Fallafel, Seafood stew with monkfish, salmon, mussels and white beans, Chocolate torte. All was really good and they were running 1954 B&W movies during dinner... More

My girlfriend and I frequent root down for dinner and this morning we tried their brunch. Talk about taking us to the stratosphere. The services were impeccable and the preparation by the kitchen staff was stunning. We enjoyed the breakfast burrito and the egg sandwich on a croissant. It was all expertly prepared. Such a treat as it always is.

I was in Denver for work travel when friends recommended this place. I ordered some share plates and the food was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the service from the staff was superb. The only issue that i had was the duck tacos being really dry. Other than that, near perfect experience.

Root Down has got to be the best spot in Denver. We have never been disappointed. The food is local and fresh. The portions are great for sharing. Don't wait till the last minute or you may not get a table. I always book at least two weeks out.
