The decor and service is excellent, and we had some good dishes, including very interesting and tasty soup dumplings - a truly innovative and succesful example of fusion cuisine. The scallops were also nice with interesting spices. However, the wagyu beef was chewy and bland, despite being recommended by the staff.

My family and I decided to do progressive dining so we chose ChoLon for our appetizers and oh man what a great choice! We got the beef skewers which were AMAZING!! they seriously melted in my mouth! Their potstickers also phenomenal!!! My family also very much so enjoyed the onion dumplings!!!

I was not impressed with the menu. I felt the food was bland, the service was terrible and the layout/deco weird. Pass on this restaurant as there are many others within a block or two that blow it away.

I love this restaurant! The menu isn't overwhelming, and every dish we ordered was superb. The service was also exceptional. So exceptional that I asked the waiter where he had been trained, since the only restaurants where I've experienced this kind of service are Danny Meyer's restaurants in New York. And guess what? He's from New York and used to... More

Had dinner there with my spouse last Friday evening. Sat at the bar for a drink, and the bartenders were very friendly and eager to whip up a new concoction. Got our table outside on the street side and had some great starters (pork belly buns and scallops) that were fantastic, as was the main course (wagyu beef and fried... More

We had a group of 7 which was just right for group ordering. We had onion soup dumplings, pop in mouth, terrific flavor. Ribs, broccoli dish, dumplings, and best of all put together yourself steamed pork buns with a piece of pork belly for each bun-delicious.

I recently went to ChoLon for a business meeting and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the restaurant was inside and how good the soup dumplings were. I also had the chicken and rice dish which was good, but a bit hard to eat with chopsticks because the vegetables were so big. Overall, a great lunch spot with good... More

Wow! It is more a small plate restaurant, made for sharing! Whatever you do, you MUST have the onion soup dumplings. They are to DIE FOR! We got a second order. The kaya toast was also really, really good as well as the beef skewers. Even if you don't like lobster, have the lobster crepes. We tried about 5 other... More

By far one of the best dining experiences I've had in recent history. Service was fantastic and the food is exceptional. You must have the Soup Dumplings...you won't be able to just eat one!
