Very comfortable Irish bar

Stopped in for a light bite to eat and a few beers. We had a scottish egg , fish and chips and a few pints of their house brand larger which was very good. The scottish egg was very remarkable and i strongly suggest ordering it if you visit. The irish brown bread it is served with was very... read more

The brunch is like being in Dublin, according to my husband, who's from there. Nice terrace if the weather allows.

Lunched here twice. Scallops great and lunch specials of Irish Stew and Shepherds Pie were outstanding. Stay away from the chocolate tort as it is totally addictive and you may be tempted to order two. Place is bustling but service quick and professional!

Stopped in for dinner, drinks and the Giants game. If the Giants hadn't lost to the Rockies it would have been great. Nice beer selection, a mix of local and Irish. Pretty mean martini and G & T's too. The wife had the Shepherds Pie and I the Irish Stew. We were happy with both. Really nice staff, even to... More

Have been to Katie Mullen's several times while attending functions in downtown Denver. It is consistently good food and drinks. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the lack of a really good corned beef plate (not a sandwich). For the money, this is tough to beat.

After our stop at Coyote Ugly, we made a stop at Katie Mullen's. We just missed the live Irish Band and they instead had prerecorded Irish music playing VERY loud. After about 30 minutes of listening to what sounded like the SAME song, most of us were going insane. We decided to head back to the hotel bar where we... More

Had the privilege of eating lunch there. While the lunch specials are somewhat limited the four they did have were reasonably priced and very tasty. I had the fish and chips. Waitress was very attentive to us and the decor in the restaurant is very classy. Give it a chance if you are in downtown Denver.

Good, basic Irish food and drink in a very authentic setting. Although near major hotels and an active shopping area, Mullen's still feels cozy. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere always seems to be lively. Very accommodating wait and hostess staff, even for last-minute larger parties. A good value and fun as well.

The best day to eat at an Irish pub is the day before St. Patrick's day.... not the day after! The fish and chips were cook to perfection .. Fish was crisp and not greasy and very light on the inside. Good selection of beer. I had the Katie Mullens Lager. To me, the test of a good brewery is... More

I fell in love with the French fries, but did not much cared for the hamburger. The hostess and waitress were very friendly. Wi-Fi is sketchy, so best to sit in area that has connection.
