When I confirmed in person a few days before our dinner I noticed the place smelled of smoke and it was clearly smoky inside, but I was told that it was temporary. When we got to dinner the first thing we noticed was the smoke. We sat near the door so that helped. The food was great though and you... More

The food was excellent, fresh, creatively presented and the staff was very friendly. Sitting at the bar where you can see the kitchen was fun too.

I expected more. Based on the reviews, I had very high expectations that just weren't quite met. I absolutely love the atmosphere, the service was well above average. Our server, Heather, had the most beautiful accent (I know I can't judge on that, but it was a nice bonus) and was very prompt and helpful. The plating and presentation was... More

Food well executed, but simply not outstanding. I confess I expected more, based on the reviews. Went for dinner on a busy night and the service was caos.

Was in Denver for business and sat at the bar for an early dinner. Hostess was professional and friendly. Started with the flash seared kampachi which had a citrus/sweet flavor. I thought the fish could have been sliced a little thinner, but it was fresh and the flavor was excellent. Next i had the tuna tacos which were awesome! I... More

One of best meals I've ever had. The restaurant is in a convenient downtown location. The dining room is small and intimate with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious and rich, with perfect texture balance. Sea scallops on mascarpone polenta was followed by hanger steak with gorgonzola cream and crispy brussel sprouts. Cocktails were unique, as were the desserts.... More

When visiting Denver recently we went to TAG for lunch. We were tucked away in a half round booth near the kitchen. Our waitress was generally good. We had several selections that we shared. It was a great experience! We started with the best thing first: the Taco Sushi (charred ahi with sushi rice, homemade gauc and mango salsa) Delicious!!!... More

My husband and I had an amazing dinner here. The sushi tacos, black miso cod and steak were perfection, and the suggested wines to accompany were delightful. But it's the personnel who make this restaurant really special - genuinely friendly. When we arrived the young woman said "Hello, I was the one you spoke with on the phone". And the... More

I came here with my boyfriend in December and we spent some time at the bar with friends before having dinner. The cocktail selection is huge and amazing. The ambiance is cozy and can be romantic as well. However, a couple of drinks is about the same cost for a full dinner. Outside of the price, we loved our meal.... More

We were visiting from out of town and decided to try TAG based on the TripAdvisor rating. We popped in on a busy Saturday night without a reservation and got lucky. We were seated right away. We had a very good dinner. Not quite as good as we expected, but not bad. The service was fine. At one point my... More
