Description: Root Down aims to connect the neighborhood to a dining experience in the same way ingredients are connected to food. There should be a seamless bond between the elements and experience, which stimulates the senses and draws people in. Root Down serves “globally influenced seasonal cuisine,” which basically means we go where inspiration leads us. We’re not tied to one style or genre—we’re hoping to create one of our own. At Root Down we pride ourselves on striving to solve the ‘Omnivore’s Dilemma.’ We have created a dining spot where all dietary needs will be accommodated, including vegetarian, vegan, raw and gluten free; also allergies or intolerances are always handled professionally by the kitchen team. Our menu has icons reflecting this philosophy, though we always request you notify your server of specific needs. We look forward to seeing you soon!

We were headed to a friends house and was looking for someplace to eat along the way. As we were driving through residential areas we thought we might have be lost. Walking in, it was a nice atmosphere with what appears to be reclaimed wood floor. The food was very good with great options with dietary restrictions. They cater to... More

In concourse C and had extra time to sit down and enjoy some food. I tried the Squash and Brussel Sprout salad that was amazing. Kicky with a mustard dressing and all sorts of yum on the plate. The person next to me had the edamame hummus that was equally divine he says. If you have the chance of a... More

I frequently travel on business with a gluten free vegan, so try to hunt out places that can satisfy both our tastes. We had visited Root down at the airport, so this downtown version seemed a logical choice. Fun and funky, really busy despite it being a 'nothing' Tuesday evening, I would recommend a reservation. Really good menu for all... More

A Sunday evening first trip to this restaurant. We sat at the bar and we got educated in this complete menu of the drinks and food. A wonderful night with Erin and Maria. Beer selections, bar food, whisky and great company from Scott, Jennifer and friends. We will be back

A business colleague and I dined here while traveling and the entire experience was first rate. I was eating vegan/what free and my colleague is carnivore but actually chose his first-ever vegan meal after seeing the menu. We had the sweet potato falafel, the tofu entree, and a few other dishes. This restaurant needs six stars. The staff were also... More

Great food and staff. Cute, trendy place. Stopped for some small plates and wine. We had a table outside which was quite nice. This is in a very cute part of town in a nice neighborhood with a number of shops. Everything was fresh and hot. Wine options were nice. Don't miss this place, it's worth finding!

Loved the food and the staff. Nice seasonal dishes, well-seasoned and fresh. Desert - vegan chocolate truffle - was astounding. But make a reservation, they are very busy!!!

Excellent place. We had some doubts initially, knowing they featured many vegan and vegetarian dishes. But everything was awesome, including the brussel sprouts. Service is superb, too.

Good food! Although not the best that we have had. Service was great, our waitress Sofia was very sweet and very helpful. It was a busy day so did not get food very fast, but that's ok since food is made fresh here so it only makes sense!

The fresh vegetable soup (carrot puree and other veggies) was awesome!! The service at the Denver Airport location was spot on. The house salad was also notable!
