oh God !! -- another pretentious expensive wine bar !! Don't these people ever get it ?? The wine is too expensive ! Why don't they serve some decent wines at an AFFORDABLE prices ??? These wine bars open up, hoping to make a killing. Before you know it, they are out of business. The Wine Loft is another rediculous... More

If you are hoping to have a private event here, keep looking. The staff is extremely unprofessional and they do not seem to know how to communicate with each other. I recently tried to book the Wine Loft for a private event and had a terrible experience. Perhaps it was a lack of experience with event hosting. They do not... More

Large choice of wines that can be enjoyed in very relaxed and comfortable surroundings. Friendly staff who will always help you choose a nice wine, but as long as you like wine and go with the flow you'll fit right in. Very friendly place good for meeting other people in and making new friend. In a more nice part of... More

We found the Wine Loft while wandering around the LoDo area of Denver. It is a lovely building with atmospheric decor. The wine list was excellent, and we were encouraged to try tasters of different American wines so we could find exactly what we liked. The staff (and in particular Matt) were friendly and happy to chat. The pride in... More

I called a little before 8 pm on a Saturday to see if I could make a reservation for dinner for around 9:00. The persone who answered told me it wouldn't be necessary, that they have "open seating" and he'd be able to find me a place. So I arrived just after 9, and after a too-long wait for the... More

Interesting evening. Great atmosphere. Would go back for that. The night was unusually busy so the service was mediocre. But atmosphere was worth trying again.

As someone who loves a good glass or wine and after reading the positive reviews I was excited to visit this place when I was in Denver for a girl's weekend. We finally made it there on a Saturday night after walking about 6 city blocks in snow after our dinner. We were looking forward to continuing our great wine... More

My daughter had just graduated from DU and we were hosting friends and family from out of state and local friends. Aaron was great in setting everything in place, even recommending the bakery. They have a very cozy room upstairs, comfy couches, subdued lights, etc. The waiter went up and down making sure that everyone had their drinks. We had... More

My wife and iI were in Denver for the labor day weekend and hopping around to various restaurants. Wanting a light meal, we found The Wine Loft listed as $$ in hotel literature and also in 5280 magazine, We had an early reservation and arrived to an empty room. Taste of Colorado, a massive event with many restaurants at the... More

Downtown Denver has a lot to offer. For the average tourist 16th Ave. has familiar chains (Chilis, Hard Rock, even Earls for the Canadians). Larimer Sq. has lots of fashionable people. Just a little ways off this beaten track is this gem. SUPERB service, great location (view of Coors field), good wine list and interesting menu, though I confess I... More
