Great food! Reasonable price!

We were one of the few people in there on a Friday night but the food and service were amazing. We definitely recommend giving it a try.

We went on a Friday night around 6:30pm and the place was at a little over half capacity. The waitress forgot to bring us the bread we asked for, but other than that she was good. With the food being pretty inexpensive, I was not expecting much. The food turned out to be pretty good, but there is room for... More

Restaurant is located in an old hotel. Lots of history for ambiance, the food is better than average Italian, and you can tell it's made with quality ingredients. The restaurant was not overcrowded, the noise level was good and they take reservations. Excellent value and the service is good. The bar selections are a little weak but the stuff they... More

After exploring the wonderful Cripple Creek museum, we wanted a light lunch, and were able to get it . . . . hamburgers, great; ham and cheese, tasty and split for the two of us; shrimp cocktail, good and got an extra shrimp because order was long in coming (according to the wait staff), and the onion rings also tasty.... The service was very attentive, but the ambiance and food were only average. The prices are pretty inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.

We were walking the town and had worked up an appetite on our recent visit to Cripple Creek, CO. We stopped into the Midland Depot at the Imperial Hotel, which is downtown, and after reading the menu, decided to give it a try. The pace is relaxed, the service is attentive and the food is very good. Please try the... More

Only two pages on the menu but there's a lot there. Loved the beer cheese soup and the penne puttanesca was spicy and quite tasty. My wife judges an Italian eatery the first time by the quality of its spaghetti bolognese, which she deemed pretty good. But the winner of the evening was my son'a very tasty chicken Marsala. We'd... You won't be disappointed with the dining experience at Midland Depot. Everything is so fresh and made by someone who really cares about the quality and presentation. The atmosphere will take you back in time. The servers are friendly and efficient. As a local of Cripple Creek, Midland Depot is my favorite restaurant in town. The city I grew up... More

A group of 14 of us descended on the Midland Depot. Never having visited this restaurant, we did not know what to expect. The restaurant was decorated with 1800's/ early 1900's pictures and furnishing which we enjoyed. The restaurant gave our group our own dining room, which allowed us to chat with each other across the table and still hear... More

Best Italian food around. Atmosphere is Historic, food is amazing. The garlic cheese bread to die for. Form the spaghetti to the lasagna, I have never been disappointed. Excellent service and friendly staff. Quiet room so conversations can be a part of the experience.
