Only two pages on the menu but there's a lot there. Loved the beer cheese soup and the penne puttanesca was spicy and quite tasty. My wife judges an Italian eatery the first time by the quality of its spaghetti bolognese, which she deemed pretty good. But the winner of the evening was my son'a very tasty chicken Marsala. We'd... You won't be disappointed with the dining experience at Midland Depot. Everything is so fresh and made by someone who really cares about the quality and presentation. The atmosphere will take you back in time. The servers are friendly and efficient. As a local of Cripple Creek, Midland Depot is my favorite restaurant in town. The city I grew up... More

A group of 14 of us descended on the Midland Depot. Never having visited this restaurant, we did not know what to expect. The restaurant was decorated with 1800's/ early 1900's pictures and furnishing which we enjoyed. The restaurant gave our group our own dining room, which allowed us to chat with each other across the table and still hear... More

Best Italian food around. Atmosphere is Historic, food is amazing. The garlic cheese bread to die for. Form the spaghetti to the lasagna, I have never been disappointed. Excellent service and friendly staff. Quiet room so conversations can be a part of the experience.

I've been to Italy, and this is better ! I'm there several times each week, too good not to ! The wait... More

The staff was friendly and helpful! Our waitress was efficient and nice without being pushy! Upon the recommendation of our innkeeper, we tried the Midland Depot. I have gluten allergies, so it is hard for me to find good food while traveling. I tried the gluten free pasta carbonara. It was amazing!!! I literally ate twice as much as I... More

I love my spaghetti and I would put this in my top 5 worldwide. I had the caesar salad which was crisp and flavorful. We were with a group and ordered a plate of the cheese bread to share which had a great soft texture. The meat sauce on the spaghetti was definitely meaty and had a taste that just... More
