Great food

Generous portions and great Italian food. Try the lasagne - the sausage in it is delightful. The wine list was adequate and they also provided some interesting beer choices. Fairly reasonable in terms of price as well.

This restaurant was recommended to me by the caretakers over at Carr Manor. After reading several good reviews on TripAdvisor, I decided to give it a try. I was by myself so I elected to sit in the bar area and Mark was the bartender that night. He made me a Red Rooster, the house special, which I think is... More

The Midland  Depot at Imperial Hotel was definitely not a place that we will stop and eat again.  I found the restaurant from a google search of restaurants that were kid friendly to that area.  The reason being that there were several restaurants that were located in casinos and children were not allowed in.  I made a reservation through... We were just here this weekend. Both the Midland Depot and the Red Rooster Bar were both open for lunch and dinner. They have just started their summer season full service, so maybe that is why the previous reviewer may have thought they were closed. During the winter they have limited hours weekends only. Still the same owners, great food... More

The "Imperial Casino" which was bought out for a short time & became "Big Jim's" is closed and only has an "antique shop" on the lower floor. No Casino, No restaurant, No "rooster bar", nothing. All closed. Hopefully will become something again in the near future, but for now nothing there.

We were one of the few people in there on a Friday night but the food and service were amazing. We definitely recommend giving it a try.

We went on a Friday night around 6:30pm and the place was at a little over half capacity. The waitress forgot to bring us the bread we asked for, but other than that she was good. With the food being pretty inexpensive, I was not expecting much. The food turned out to be pretty good, but there is room for... More

Restaurant is located in an old hotel. Lots of history for ambiance, the food is better than average Italian, and you can tell it's made with quality ingredients. The restaurant was not overcrowded, the noise level was good and they take reservations. Excellent value and the service is good. The bar selections are a little weak but the stuff they... More

After exploring the wonderful Cripple Creek museum, we wanted a light lunch, and were able to get it . . . . hamburgers, great; ham and cheese, tasty and split for the two of us; shrimp cocktail, good and got an extra shrimp because order was long in coming (according to the wait staff), and the onion rings also tasty.... The service was very attentive, but the ambiance and food were only average. The prices are pretty inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.
