Avalanche offers good food and reasonable drinks prices. The atmophere is upbeat and the staff is fun too.

This restaurant is great for when you want to come off the mountain and warm up. It's good warming food with a great view of the base of the mountain.

No doubt the skiing is awesome in Crested Butte and if you're downhilling like I love to do at CBMR, the resort up on the mountain, then darn it, one MUST stop to eat, replenish those cells and get back to the slopes quickly! Place to go is The Avalanche. In and out with awesome menu, out of this world... More

Pretty good food for a decent slope-side price. Super wait-staff. Good fries. Sandwiches were good size and tasty (portabella, tuna melt, and salmon BLT). Corn chowder was a little disappointing - overly spiced (pepper) hid the corn and cream soup flavors. A resort worker said this place has the best food on the slopes for the price. We'll be back.

Best clam chowder I've ever had!!!! And really delicious burgers too. It's gotten popular, so be ready to wait a little bit...but it's so with the wait!

Wandered in to this restaurant as it was the closest shelter during a rainstorm. Food was fair, the veggie burger is just a frozen Garden Burger (it is on the menu as that, so no foul there), my steak sandwich was some cubed chunks of beef, and some just tasted a bit nasty. The server seemed new and inexperienced (never... More

This is pretty standard food similar to what you find in restaurants in the nearby hotels but at cheaper prices. Nice outdoor patio area. If you're looking for a bar/bar food, its worth a try.

The title pretty we'll describes my hamburger. My girlfriend had the pizza which she called "below average". My buddy got the prime rib. His verdict: OK' but a dry old baked potato. All-in-all, a big disappointment

Nice bar with really good food. It's not fancy, but it was walking distance to our hotel. We tried their pizza and it was some of the best pizza I've every had. They have several TVs in case you want to watch a game.
