This place serves typical fast ski food; burgers and buffalo chili and the like. Service was quick and there was always a place to sit. The views are good and the people friendly.

Great breakfast and lunch place at affordable prices. The restaurant is very cozy housed in one of the oldest buildings in Crested Butte. When the weather is nice there is an awesome outdoor patio right next to the creek. The staff is friendly and attentive.

the Paradise Cafe moved from it's cramped quarters at Elk and 3rd st up to the Old Croatian Hotel at Elk land 5th. More space and more atmosphere alongside the rushing Cold Creek. Same great breakfasts as before. Great value. Good service.

We went here for breakfast based on a waiter's recommendation at another restaurant. We walked in and was able to sit at the bar. We were not greeted or offered anything to drink for 20 minutes. Every table was full, but only 1/3 had food on them. Finally someone asked us what we wanted to drink. We placed our drink... More

Fresh and healthy food fast, with good service at a reasonable price. They had peach pancakes on special in August with fresh local palisade peaches. YUM!

We stopped here for lunch and were told to grab a seat anywhere. We waited about 10 minutes for the server to show up at our table. She had a bad attitude from the second she walked up to our table. She was surly, bitter and rude throughout the dining experience. She asked what we wanted to drink and everyone... More

We stopped in for breakfast. Food was ok. Prices and signs were miss leading, and staff was worthless. We ordered 3 specialty pancakes. The sign said: "1 for $6.50; 2 for $8.50; add on $2.00". We thought that meant 3 for $10.50. Nope it means 3 for $15. When we asked the waitstaff about this on our bill they said.... More

This place, now down toward the end of Elk Avenue, in the former Old Croatian site, is a great place for a quick, for Crested Butte, breakfast. Eggs, bacon, pancakes done right.

Paradise Cafe in the Old Croatian Restaurant spot in the Forest Queen Hotel is fantastic. The Hotel is an original building from the mining days of Crested Butte. Both the restaurant and the hotel are unique because of the atmosphere created by old photographs and original finishes, but the best part of the experience is the food. I had a... More
