Very flavorful. My first experience with a mole'. The place was very full when we first arrived, but the staff kept us plied with chips and salsa and drinks until the surge subsided.

We never miss a chance to eat at Donita's when in CB. The meals are fantastic every time, and the owners, Kay and Heli Mae, sisters, always greet you with a smile. I had the special that night, and it was fantastic. The margaritas are the best I've had. You will most likely have to wait, but you will not... More

Not sure what the attraction is to Donita's. Generic Mexican food at best. Better burritos can be had across the street at Teocalli Tamale (though not any more authentic). Maybe this is the way southerners like Mexican food!

Donita's is the place for Colorado Mexican Food in CB. Not a lot of other Mex options in town, but Donita's stands up well against similar places in Denver or Dallas. It gets really filled up when the town is full of visitors, so make a reservation, early is better.

Decent Mexican cuisine. Restaurant had a good vibe, packed with mostly tourists. Not a bad option if looking for something different.

Wow...was this place a roller coaster! Service and hospitality were great by ALL staff without exception. The much touted "homemade chunky salsa" was likewise outstanding. Drinks were stiff and inexpensive. All this said, however, they blew my entire', a shredded beef chimichanga, big time! First, the chimichanga shell was cold. It may have been prepared several hours or even days... More

The food was very good, not the best mexican food I have ever had but still very good. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good sized. We arrived just after they opened, about 5:30 or so and had no issues getting seated. We would eat here again.

Not sure what Donita's is normally like, because it was our group's first time there. It was extremely busy and you could definitely tell. We waited quite a long time for everything. Drinks, food, and check. We all thought the food was average Mexican cuisine. It was tasty, but nothing that would make us rush back for a second helping.

Pace in a jar, El patio burrito. Horrible service horrible food. Go to Crested Butte South to Rubens New Mexican if you want the best in town. Donita's was dirty and food tasted the same.
