Pace in a jar, El patio burrito. Horrible service horrible food. Go to Crested Butte South to Rubens New Mexican if you want the best in town. Donita's was dirty and food tasted the same.

Donita's is one of my "Go TO" restaurants in Crested Butte - many reasons... It's an incredible Locals Hangout so I'm always happy to grab a bite and an amazing Margarita plus all the news i.e. bits of info (Ah... gossip?) Did I mention the Margs? Oh, my dear! Real and reliable, well-priced, generous menus that include the fancy, the... More

We have been coming here since this place was the Way Station. It's way better now as Donita's. Food is mostly non traditional Mexican leaning towards Santa Fe, but also pretty trading mexican. All excellent. Watch our for the Magaritas, they are potent!!! Our server was new, but friendly. What she lacked in menu knowledge, she made up in attitude... More

The Mexican food at Donita's is different from the national chain restaurants. Many salads and entrees are prepared using local produce. The cheese enchiladas were excellent although the chilies releno had a heavy batter that was not cooked all the way through.

We stood at the hostess stand for at least 5 minutes. when no one came over or acknowledged us we headed to the bar as there were 2 stools empty. the bartender did acknowledge us with a "it will be a while type comment". The margarita I had was probably the best I have ever had. I have no idea... More

Best place to eat in Crested Butte. We have been eating here each time we visit CB for the past 20+ years and have never been disappointed. On top of wonderful food, you get really friendly staff.

There were 5 of us in our party and we came here for dinner after our long drive. The sisters (owners, I think) were full of energy and really nice. My husband got the steak fajitas and I got the chile rellano. My friends got "the special for the day" and we all thought the food was very yummy! Don't... More

On the advice of Trip Advisor reviews, we decided to stop in for dinner (they open every day at 5) We were there early so no trouble being seated. Complimentary chips and salsa waited at the table, and the salsa was delicious. If given the choice between the specialty margarita of the day and one off the menu, go with... More

We were promptly seated and our drink order was taken immediately (liter of margaritas). I had the tostada off the lighter fare part of the menu and it was still a huge portion. Vegetarian options are available. Ingredients are really fresh, not canned or processed. Owners are great.
