Best place to eat in Crested Butte. We have been eating here each time we visit CB for the past 20+ years and have never been disappointed. On top of wonderful food, you get really friendly staff.

There were 5 of us in our party and we came here for dinner after our long drive. The sisters (owners, I think) were full of energy and really nice. My husband got the steak fajitas and I got the chile rellano. My friends got "the special for the day" and we all thought the food was very yummy! Don't... More

Best in class hospitality in a Crested Butte staple establishment. Try the mouth-watering shredded beef.

On the advice of Trip Advisor reviews, we decided to stop in for dinner (they open every day at 5) We were there early so no trouble being seated. Complimentary chips and salsa waited at the table, and the salsa was delicious. If given the choice between the specialty margarita of the day and one off the menu, go with... More

We were promptly seated and our drink order was taken immediately (liter of margaritas). I had the tostada off the lighter fare part of the menu and it was still a huge portion. Vegetarian options are available. Ingredients are really fresh, not canned or processed. Owners are great.

We love Donita's! We are from Texas where we have lots of good Mexican food but we are always ready for a visit here. We spend the summer in this area and try to eat here at least once a week. The salsa is always fresh. Chicken enchiladas with green sauce are the best ever. DO NOT MISS this place.

A bit spicy for me but my husband loves it. They have a kids and senior menu which is the perfect portion and price for us. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We went to Donita's hoping for some spicy green chile. Also, the promise of homemade chips and salsa. When we got there, there was a wait. The greeter was not around, and finally came out and did not know who was there first. We were constantly worried that we were not being seated when we should be, as many people... More

Donita's was excellent with service, food and atmosphere. We were seated right away with friendly service. Fajitas were awesome! The restaurant is located in an old hotel and the atmosphere is quaint and family-friendly. Windows opened to the main street! A little pricey but would eat here again!
