The all-new Bacchanale is a modest Italian restaurant from the team that launched django’s restaurant at the base of Mt. Crested Butte in 2008. Our fresh and light menu will re-introduce you to simple flavors, colorful salads, artisan flatbreads and handmade specialties. Our comfortable atmosphere will entice you to come every day. Join us nightly for dinner from 5-10pm, and pick your favorite spot: at the bar, the community tables, along the banquette benches, in our private dining rooms, or on the balcony overlooking it all. During the summer, bistro seating on Elk Avenue let's you watch the action, enjoy the sunshine and surf the web, all while enjoying a Campari & soda. At 7am every morning, we're up again to serve you organic coffee, fresh house-made pastries, and specialty breakfast items.

Delightful food in a beautiful mountain town

Generally I am not a fan of Colorado resort town restaurants, and you'll rarely see me review one. It's not that they are terrible; it's just that they are often overpriced and only as good as they absolutely have to be to stay in business in a place that receives millions of tourist dollars each... read more

I had been wanting to try this restaurant since we came to Crested Butte to visit last year. We finally got our chance and though we were sat relatively quickly, we had to wait for over 15 minutes for our waiter to get to the table to take our order. He was a little rude but it seemed like he... More

Not as huge a draw as the fancy pizza place down the street, but the service was top notch, the drinks were perfectly made, the salads a perfect beginning, and the mains well appointed. A solid choice.

In a town best known for mediocre pizza family places and overpriced fine-dining, Bacchanale is a real find. The restaurant's been there in one form or another for about 30 years but changed management a few years ago and have gone to a fixed price menu recently. The kitchen is excellently run and the dishes are creative. You get a... More

Our waitress opened the wine, but never poured it, failed to bring us silverware, cleared our plates before we were done, and stared at us as we ate from across the room. A waiter (eating at a nearby table) spent the entire evening discussing how he was going to hook up with the sister of another waiter. The conversation was... More

This was our second experience here. The menu was more limited than last year with a prix fixe menu. However, the food is very good and pretty authentic.

Excellent food. They offer a fixed-price menu for $25, which includes an entrée, appetizer or salad, and dessert. The portions are large - plenty of leftovers for another meal! The menu is small but diverse. I had the bucatini pasta with a walnut/basil pesto, roasted cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. My partner had a New York Strip - we were both... More

Most of the time when I see a prix fixe menu I figure the options are going to be limited and probably not what I want. That was not the case here - there were at least 3 options for each course I had difficulty deciding from. My boyfriend chose the brussels sprout and kale salad for his starter and... More

We had a very good dinner. The server combined the laid back CB vibe with good advice and food knowledge. Not cheap but a fair value.

This is another place we haven't tried for some reason and glad we finally did. The food was amazing. They had a special $25 pre fixe menu for January that was a great deal. Their wine selection was excellent as well. They had two of my favorite desserts of the trip - one my wife got and the other I... More
