Description: The all-new Bacchanale is a modest Italian restaurant from the team that launched django’s restaurant at the base of Mt. Crested Butte in 2008. Our fresh and light menu will re-introduce you to simple flavors, colorful salads, artisan flatbreads and handmade specialties. Our comfortable atmosphere will entice you to come every day. Join us nightly for dinner from 5-10pm, and pick your favorite spot: at the bar, the community tables, along the banquette benches, in our private dining rooms, or on the balcony overlooking it all. During the summer, bistro seating on Elk Avenue let's you watch the action, enjoy the sunshine and surf the web, all while enjoying a Campari & soda. At 7am every morning, we're up again to serve you organic coffee, fresh house-made pastries, and specialty breakfast items.

Dined here last year and loved it. However this year our favorite item, the bruschetta, was taken off the menu. Great waiters though.

Had dinner here last night with my husband and our two girls ages 9 and 6. The food was fabulous- we had the design it yourself bruschetta, my husband had the wild boar which he loved, and I had the shrimp with hazelnut sundried tomato pesto. YUMMY across the board. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, but then didn't follow... More

We ate here at the recommendation of the host at another restaurant that did not have any openings. We were not disappointed! The men in our group had steaks and they were very good. I had a salad and my friend had the flatbread. For dessert we tried the flourless almond orange cake. It was delicious. We will eat here... More

We stumbled into Bacchanale based on the menu. What a great choice! From the beginning to the end this place was great! We were early for dinner so we got a great seat by the window. Our server was prompt and lovely. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend any of it. The flatbread is a great app... More

So far, I've had three-for-three excellent experiences in terms of ambiance, service and food. The food is inventive and fresh. I like to think that the pappardelle noodles are made from scratch because they are simply lovely. The vegetarian lasagna is packed with flavor. The staff is always friendly and conscientious. Owner Chris Ladoulis visits tables and is genuinely grateful... More

We stopped there for diner after long day on Magic Meadows. Very nice and friendly service. I had a bass which was baked in special wrapper and with farro grain was delicious. My husband went for steak and he said it was great as well. We also had their kale salad which was very refreshing and tasty. They have plants... More

After a slight mix up with the wine we started our meal with the build-your-own bruschetta. A big WOW on the reduced balsamic vinegar. I highly recommend it. I had the chicken el mattone which was way over sized. They could have served half as much and I would have been satisfied. But it tasted wonderful. I snuck a bite... More

Overall, a nice 'redo' of the Bacchanale, which in its day served its purpose but time doesn't treat restaurants kindly if they never change (kind of like people who never change...). My wife and recently visited over President's Weekend - we've been coming to Crested Butte for 25+ years so we have history on our side plus we both travel... More

The name "Bacchananale" suggests a typical "red sauce" Italian restaurant. Au contraire! The food was delicate Northern Italian style. The eggplant pillows were delicious and prepared in such a way that we have never experienced before...a light batter, then fried and drizzled with aged balsamic vinegar.
