We love trying as many breweries as possible and found this place on our recent stay-cation. Friendly patrons, good beer and even were given samples of the beers before ordering from the owner. We have heard they have a lot of live music which isn't our favorite environment but there wasn't any events happening while we were there and loved... More

We love breweries and have been to about 30 in Colorado alone. We visited the Eldo on a very busy weekend night in July and it was very crowded with young drunk people. It seemed like we were the oldest people in the place (we are in our mid-late 30's). There was a DJ playing techno (which I happen to... More

I had a tempura avocado dish and it was so good. So weird but oh so good. The atmosphere is total dive bar (I think it was in the design plans...) but the food is this weird fusion cuisine that makes it a truly funky place to eat.

Great selection of brews.....just needs more outdoor seating! No waiters, so serve yourself from the bar.

What a fun place!! If you want to get away from the more touristy spots, this is a great place with great beers. Only microbrewery in town!!! Be sure to go to the end of the bar and grab some grub off the grill. Dave is the proprietor of the grill with a great personality and cooks up great burgers... More

We hit the Eldo around 8 on Saturday night. This is the place most of the local seem to go to grab a beer, so it was definitely an interesting mix of people on the patio. Great music on the night we were there - and I think I saw something where they even have live shows from time to... More

We had so much fun hanging at the Eldo each day around 4-6ish. Friendly locals and great brews on tap. Typical bar food, but good. Sit out on the upper patio in nice weather and enjoy watching life in CB go by - lots of bikes and lots of walkers. Met really interesting locals and connected with other Midwesterners.

Nice place for lunch and a brew. Excellent view of historic Crested Butte from upstairs deck. Great for people watching too. Bar food at a reasonable price for a resort town
