Can't agree with the traveler from Georgia.Service was excellent, and I think we had same college boy who worked when they were apparently talking way too loud for other customers' comfort. It's a tiny place, having 10 people they occupied most of the space. So "in front of the whole restaurant "is a wild exaggeration, as room would fit probably another 3-4 people.And... We have grandkids in CB, and a trip to Third Bowl is a standard item on the itinerary. They make their own ice cream right there. It is incredible. And they are so generous with the town and the folks who live there. A real asset for Crested Butte, and great people

So, if any of you have a 12 year old boy, you can relate. I will preface this by saying that the ice cream was nice. Interesting flavors like honey rosemary, etc. Very unique and hand crafted. Also the hot chocolate was divine and worth waiting for. Now, for the bad part. We had a group of 10 people and... More

It's just the very best! There are lines of people outside the door to get scoops of the surprising combinations of flavors! So rich and creamy and delicious. I'm writing this review after hours and wish they were still open!! Tomorrow....

We stopped here twice, since we enjoyed it so much. There are the standard flavors along with some unusual flavors. I had the chocolate fudge which was excellent while my wife had blueberry. There is a wide variety of flavors and they offer tastes. I tried the honey lavender and found it too sweet for me but other people might... More

Quite a collection of different flavors - the ones we tried were delicious. These are just extra characters to allow this review to post.

This is a very cool place that has some unique flavors to go along with the usual suspects like coffee, pistachio, salted caramel, etc. I had the jalapeño peach and my wife had the blueberry, both of which were amazing. I thought the jalapeño would be strong but it wasn't. It was just the right amount of heat to go... More

I went in hoping for a good berry ice cream, but all the berry flavors were a bit different. I like new experiences in my food, but they were a bit far out for me. The goat cheese raspberry was interesting, but not something I wanted a whole scoop of. Same with the cardamom berry. So I settled for the... More

If you are looking for flavors that are different, then this is the place. I had the honey, cinnomon, cayenne and WOW it was so good. It put a little heat at the back of your throat. My son had the jalapeno peach and was very good too. Prices are very reasonable. Worth going to every day your in town.

When you first walk into Third Bowl the flavours sound a bit surprising, but take a chance, you'll be delighted. I had the strawberry basil and the lemon lavender pound cake and they were so, so good. Can't choose? Third Bowl will split a single scoop for you. They were fantastic. A trip highlight. I just wish they weren't so... More
