there are a lot of quite strange places to eat in Crested Butte, but finding a traditional bacon & egg breakfast isn't so easy and we were pleased to be recommended this one on the main street having ascertained that the good place we used each day for hash 'n eggs on our last visit five years ago had gone.... Right on Elk St in the middle of CB, you will find this great spot. Twice we had breakfast here during our visit our 5 day visit to this absolutely cool and gorgeous town. Each time the food was really good. Service was very friendly and informative. One of best steak and egg breakfasts I have ever had. Just a... More

After 4 hard days of bike riding, this was the oasis for my tummy! Big, delicious breakfast served later in the day. Iced Tea and HOMEMADE PIE PEOPLE. Amazing. Great service at the counter - no wait to be seated. Get the pie.

We got there around 2pm and that place was still packed, had to wait a while for a table. My son ordered Buffalo Burger and I order regular burger, both are excellent. Very generous portion, definitely the right place to go if you are hungry. It seems they are under staffed so it takes a while for the food to... More

On the recommendation of local friends, we walked to McGill's for breakfast on a Friday morning. Short wait, but we could see waitstaff working hard to keep both diners and waiting folks happy. Our delicious choices were blueberry pancakes (LOTS of blueberries ), apple-stuffed French toast, Eggs Benedict with spinach (would have been better with Canadian bacon, I think) and... More

The French Toast is to die for! It must be deep fried, which sounds too heavy, but whatever they do to cook it is perfect! I had it twice in 4 days and loved it. The service is based on "Crested Butte time", meaning no one is in any rush, so sit back, enjoy the coffee and the best breakfast... More

My husband and I visited Crested Butte today, and ate breakfast here based on Tripadvisor reviews. We both ordere the day's special, which was pancakes with 2 eggs, and a choce of meat. We ordered our eggs "over medium," and our eggs were overcooked. I do wish McGills would offer a better breakfast selection for people who would like a... More
