Great food, great beers, awesome and inventive menus, cool bartenders and staff, and killer ambiance. What more is there to say...

The owner also has a restaurant in Dallas, Texas. The food is A-1 and the owner is very friendly as well as the staff which is part locals and part Dallas summer transplants. There is also cappuccino and a newly constructed bars.

The food is good at Far Dog and all the folks working there are as nice as possible, if you visit Creede be sure to try Far Dog. Just FYI, their biscuits and gravy are the best I have had, it is the gravy that is so good, give that a try if possible!!

What else can be said, The Far Dog has the best biscuits and gravy I have ever eaten. They maybe crowded and busy but the food is worth the brief wait. Suggested by a local for breakfast, it was great. I am already looking forward to next year!

Went to breakfast there last week. Husband and friend wanted to try the biscuits and gravy. They said they were the best they've ever had. Not being a fan of biscuits and gravy, I had 2 fried eggs, over medium, but they were over hard. Should have ordered over easy, I guess. The hashbrowns were fine and you get a... More

Based on trip advisor we went to the far dog very much looking forward to a good meal. We were so disappointed to find that they are only open for breakfast right now from 730-1130. So we did not get to eat there and I wanted others to know this major change in hours.

it you aren't there when the doors open you will probably be waiting. The historical building seats about 20 people max but unfortunately there isn't a waiting area inside. Wait list customers are relegated to one park bench or a city park next door. The menu is determined by locally available produce and meat on a daily basis. I've never... More

My son and daughter in law are coffee lovers. They brought me to this shop. Great coffee and capuchins. Really good. What I found amazing was the fresh baked biscuits and homemade gravy. Rich and flavorful. Great breakfast place and not expensive.

Stopped for lunch but found they now close at 2pm. Came back the following day. The food and service was great. Very friendly people, down to earth and conversational. The one draw back is it is very small with limited seating. If you go when there is no rush you can choose your seat otherwise you may not get a... More

Two thumbs up! Surprising that in this small of a town there's a restaurant with such high quality food!! I've eaten here several times during our stay for breakfast and lunch and every time they exceeded my expectations. Simply delicious! I highly recommend The Far Dog; the food is amazing and the employees are very friendly.
