Not bad for Sushi in the Mountains!!

Its not bad for Sushi in the mountains. I am a bit of a sushi fiend, so it doesn't compare to any of the best places, but that's not a fair comparison, you are in the mountains. Its good, not great, its fair priced not expensive. The atmosphere is great and the service is too. Give it a run, I... read more

I did not know what to expect from a sushi bar in the mountains but was pleasantly surprised. Sushi was fresh, well made, and tasty. Also had some very good cocktails and apps. The bartender was excellent and friendly. I would return.

Skeptical of sushi in the mountains? Sure. This place got it right. Sushi was fresh. Good color. Good taste. Good variety of rolls. It's laid back and cool atmosphere. Pricing is appropriate. Try it out!!

Our food was yummy (Trio salad and veggie rolls). Our server Teera (or something like that) was excellent - friendly and good service. Martini was pretty good, not awesome. Would have been better chilled.

We have eaten at Storm King many times - the sushi is good - not great - but good for a small mountain town. However, the last time we were in we asked the bartender to order takeout (like we have done many times) and he told us he did not want to bother the chef. Seriously! The place was... More

Extensive martini menu (and not outrageously priced at $10, which is average for a martini where I come from). Decent sushi selection, though nothing too daring, & comparably priced (at least compared to Austin, TX) with rolls ranging from $9 - $12+/-. Good "lounge" atmosphere. Good service

Cool and trendy place but still wondering if Sushi in the Colorado Mountains could be that good. Yes, yes it can. The minute they placed the sushi on the table, you can see the quality of the fish was superb. Better than I have had on coastal towns. The waiter was able to suggest new rolls based on some of... This is place is heads and shoulders better than the Center Village restaurants that aim to serve their customers interesting and special food. The sushi is fresh, well proportioned and reasonably priced, especially considering location in the mountains. Service on both visits was charming and excellent. My only concern is sanitation, because my casual checks indicated that the sushi chefs... More

This place was delicious! We had three sushi rolls, one was the special for the night, and it was one of the best rolls I have ever had. The service was great, our drinks came out quick, and the server were friendly. We sat at the sushi bar, and the sushi chef was very nice as well, telling us about... More

There were three in our party, two of us ate sushi and one did not- we were very grateful for the alternate options! We started our meal with edamame. It was very good, although we wished it would have come with a ginger sauce as opposed to just the soy sauce on the table. The sushi eaters enjoyed three rolls,... More
