Very wide reaching menu - if you have ever heard about it - it is on the menu. Large portions and excellent preparation and presentation. Only downer is it is between two creepy motels. Interior décor is new but a little too bizarre for my taste, but it is new, clean and nice. .

The exterior leaves quite a bit to be desired, cracked cement sidewalks, poorly maintained landscaping, and a building in need of some TLC, but once inside a rainbow of color hits you like Dorothy experienced when exiting her house for there first time in the Land of Oz. At $2.75, the guacamole is excellent and a terrific value when compared... More

Ball park cheese dip and tomato sauce with onion and peppers for salsa. We came based on trip advisor reviews. I felt I should share to help someone else avoid the same mistake. 8/30/14.

I wanted Mexican food, so we followed your advice to try Acero's. I should have paid attention to the reviews about large portions. We had the Molcagete Camarones (shrimp soup in a hot "lava" bowl), Pozole (soup with pork - available only on weekends), and I couldn't resist ordering the Tostada de Seviche (halibut). We could have split one of... More

I am local to Colorado Springs. I go their S. Nevada Ave location. The service is excellent, the portion sizes are large and it is locally owned. This is true Mexican food in a not so great part of town.

I'm from Texas and I relocated to Colorado Springs. I have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant and this place dished it up. Great food and good waiters

Yummy! Wanted some real mexican food and this hit the spot! Used Plano chillies in the rellano and it was very good! The only thing is the green chillie sauce had meat in it and I am not a fan of that.

Arceo's serves terrific Mexican food at a more-than-reasonable price in what appears to be a converted Pizza Hut building. I enjoyed two spinach enchiladas with beans and rice, and a great $5 margarita. My husband couldn't stop raving about his arroz con camarones (shrimp with veggies on rice). For dessert, we shared flan. For food and service Arceo's deserves five... More

This was rated pretty high on trip advisor and it was one of the only Mexican restaurants we could find that was open on a Sunday. The salsa was fresh and tasty. The service was very friendly and efficient. We never went without drinks or chips/salsa. Prices were very reasonable.
