Eclectic menu and comfortable environment

I ordered the shrimp soup and smoked salmon bruschetta. The soup was a perfect balance of Thai spice and coconut creaminess with lots of perfectly cooked shrimp. It's kind of a funny menu. Unless you're going for lunch. Mostly paninis and some soups. Tasty, but it seems like there should be a few more types of foods on the menu. The setting is cool and fun. An old house off the main drag. Outdoor seating are looks nice and on the warm January night that we visited,... More

I enjoyed our visit as it included a wonderful sandwich in a (as one other reviewer mentioned) a truly funky place. But how about throwing in $.50 worth of home made french fries on a $9. sandwich? Then...you'd have a total win! Did I mention that the drinks were great? This is a great place to stop and have lunch!... More

I am one of those folks that does not understand why Shuga's is not rated higher here in the Springs. Maybe that is good - we can treasure this place for ourselves and let other people go to The Penrose Room or Uchenna, which are okay at best. Went there on a cold snowy day and had the noodle bowl... My friends and I stopped here for food after a few hours of hiking, the food was awesome and the coffee was awesome! The only thing is that they will charge you extra for the side dishes besides that food and service was amazing. Highly recommend!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went here on our last night in Colorado Springs while staying with friends and it was fantastic! The spot itself is neat, with a small and intimate space, art specific for Shuga's, low lighting etc. The staff was artsy and overall very pleasant and helpful. The food was DELICIOUS and we all left fat and happy...including me, the vegetarian.... More

Went for lunch after reading lots of positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Atmosphere: Located on the corner of the street, this was an old home converted into a cute cafe type eatery. The indoor decor is trendy and hip. It is very cozy on the inside with about 20 or less tables. Service: Quickly greeted and seated with a pitcher of... More

We decided to try this place after reading some of its previous reviews. COS is a unique place when it come to restaurants, it’s a large city but often misses the beat on good food. I am always looking for new restaurants outside of the chain. This was a great find! It reminds me of a place nestled in Brooklyn... More

Was visiting Colorado Springs and had lunch at Shuga's. Food was excellent. I had Spicy Shrimp soup, which was outstanding. Came with really fresh French Bread also excellent. Wife and son both had a Parisian Salad which the said were delicious along with the French Bread with soft goat cheese on it. Prices were quite good especially considering the quality... More
