Colorado Springs is the original fast food heaven, so a place like Shuga's is doubly special. The food, including desserts, is consistently tasty and the setting provides a more cosmopolitan air, something this large city generally lacks. The choices are diverse, and for those who love creative cocktails with their food, Shuga's offers intriguing choices. Get there while the warm... More

Try the coconut shrimp soup with chicken spicy! Wow! A meal in itself! I have been going here for several years now and it never fails to please. Try it. You'll like it!

I took my family here over the weekend. I do admit, the meat plate and the shrimp soup was very good. However, my husband had a terrible sandwich and the salmon on my salad was overcooked. It is a better place for a date than a family restaurant. It is very funky and has so nice outdoor seating. The staff... More

I love the food, the atmosphere and the staff. I order the variety that comes on the lunch tray and every thing on it is absolutely yummy!

TERRIBLE. I admit I wanted to ignore the few negative comments and really like this place. But it was so poor, my husband and I actually went to Olive Garden afterwards for soup and salad because after our meager lunch at Shuga's, we were still starved. How desparate is that?! And it wasn't just that the portions were skimpy and... More

The only thing this restaurant should be known for is it's food and quirky decor. First of all I had made a reservation at 6:30 for 4 people and talked to someone on the phone and they confirmed our reservation. When we got to the restaurant the waiter there told us they don't take reservations for parties under 6. This... More

Very quirky spot in a residential neighborhood, which made it more interesting. The drinks were different but delicious, as was the food. Def try the curry shrimp soup!

Tried it on a beautiful early evening and dined outside. Liked the bruschetta appetizers. Ordered the Quiche of the Day on the chalkboard, but when it arrived it was the Brie and Bacon Quiche. I asked the waiter and he said that they'd changed the Quiche of the Day 15 minutes earlier but not told me. Fail. I changed my... More

This place is super quirky and small with an eclectic menu. We sampled several bruschetta, including the BLT, the Brie and Apple and the smoked salmon. They were all good but the salmon was exceptional. They smoke it in house. I highly recommend it. For my lunch I ordered the chicken bahn mi. It was good as sandwiches go but... More
