Great Bakes Good

Terrific pies and breads. A place locals go to for something special. Neat old building has the ambiance of an old farm stand--the whole effect is that I like to go in to buy something. Never disappointed with the baked goods.

You'd think an 'old world bakery' would use butter in everything, but they don't! They use margarine! At the prices they charge, it should be FRESH BUTTER made on site! Everything looked good, but I couldn't taste it because it had soy products in EVERYTHING!

Needing to pick a cake up for a work function, this bakery was the recommended choice. After ordering the cake we picked up a few treats. My son had the Napoleon Bar, my husband and I had a Mountain Peak Pastry. All were delicious. Customer service was excellent as well. We will be back.

Warm and open area...and awesome taste bud energizing baked goods. The tea cookies are my wife's absolute favorite....buttery and varied. Coffee is always hot and ready to go .. or enjoy in the small sitting area.

Husband and I came into the facility for dessert only and were delighted by the selections. Desserts are both delicious and beautiful, coffee drinks were very good.

Really delicious baked goods with a flair of European taste. I love going here before a morning at the park.

This is a fabulous bakery that is frequented by locals in the know! European pastries, butter cookies, marzipan delights and breads are all wonderful. On Saturday only they make a fritter studded with raisins and chunks of apple, that is then fried like a donut and rolled in powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. These little miracles are called Olie Bolen... More

You will not find better European baked goods in this region. Their signature cream is simply remarkable. Their scones are untouchable. We visit often and recently enterained guests so we got a broad sampling of their products. Everything was simply fantastic. Usually when you go to a bakery, there are some highlights and the rest fall in the average zone,... More

We went in to pick up a cake that we ordered through them for my daughter's birthday. They did a fantastic job- it was delicious and exactly the type of design that she wanted, We bought a variety of other pastries while we were there and everyone one of them was delicious!! This is exactly the type of "yummy dessert"... More
