best bakery in town

I have had cake, cookies, eclairs, a pie and specialty slices there and they all have been terrific. Have yet to try the on site baked bread, but I'm sure it's up to the level of the pastries. Stopped on a whim and we will be back. The pastries were European style, in other words not too sugary or buttery as most American bakeries make them, and were exceptional. They have a coffee shop with seating area, but we were in a hurry and didn't get to try the coffee...the many happy customers with their coffee's tell the... More

Best dinner rolls ever. A really nice little treasure on the north side of town. Was looking for another bakery, but stopped here. So glad we did. Old school mom and pop bakery. With a little seating for coffee and cakes. A really quaint shop. If you are in the area stop in.

My husband has been going to Boonzaaijers for many years at their old location. The new location is more central and has improved their drop-in traffic. He loves the twists and bear claws. A great stop after a long hike in the Garden of the Gods. We gave their Barr Trail and Mexican coffees as Christmas gifts.

Stopped again at our favorite bakery in Colorado and they did not disappoint. Left with three lemon bread loaves, blueberry and currant scones, and the boys finally got their cinnamon buns. Last year they were sold out. Service is friendly and we will return next trip!

We live in Pueblo, but we drove up to Colorado Springs on a Saturday morning for some pastries. It was absolutely worth the drive. There is a place to grab a number on the way in which I think is a wonderful idea because it would be easy to lose your spot in line. Anyway... We got a box of... More

Stopped by here for the first time this week. I tried a sugar cookie, pumpkin cheesecake, and a marzipan convection. Everything was insanely delicious. They also have a few shelves filled with Dutch treats. I couldn't figure out what anything said, but I will definitely come back to try more. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a hidden Gem!!! Can't go wrong for pastries, coffee, cakes, and tea. Don't pass it by! Try the fruit filled croissant!

Best ever bakery for scones, croissants, turnovers, breakfast pastries and then there are the pies, cakes, tarts, cookies and numerous dessert pastries. Absolutely love the mountain peak and the fruit-filled croissant. The staff is wonderful and gives you time to make decisions as you take in the many goodies that they offer. Any choice is a good one!
