Probably won't 'dive' in again.

The dive has average food with a below average atmosphere. The service was efficient and very friendly. The food is the type that is easily made at home. Nothing 'wowed' us.

They're true to their name. Suitable local setting to satisfy your craving for a burger, BBQ and fries.

After reading the positive reviews, we expected more. We both had the BBQ chicken sandwich special. Dry chicken, not BBQ'd but topped with a bit of sauce. Took some time to chew through it. Split a carrot cake dessert, which was OK. The waitresses were enthusiastic, which saved the experience. $25 plus tip for an average meal was extravagant. Maybe... More

Was coming down Highway 24 from Ute Pass and stopped in at The Dive for breakfast. I'd eaten dinner there before and was impressed with their ribs and their burgers. They had given us a sampler of their "gravies" and I remembered that their sausage gravy was delicious. So breakfast consisted of their biscuits and gravy combo. The sausage was... More

Expected grill and dive food. Breakfast and burgers. It's not great, but huge portions of comfort food. one other time we were there excellent service made the same food taste wonderful. The most recent time, annoying service made the food mediocre.

I came in here in somewhat of a hurry, ordered a brisket sandwich to go. Nice servers nothing exceptional. Meat in sandwich is definitely the stand out . Tender, medium smoke, perfect amount of sauce, I loved it.Fries were good perfectly seasoned. I checked prices most items seem fair priced , but my brisket sandwich seems a bit high at... More

Cute little diner, very friendly servers. I love the giant, hang off the edge of the plate pancake, that is all I have ordered. My friends with me said everything they had was wonderful. Servers keep a close eye on you, and help you with whatever you need.

Quaint place, old house converted into restaurant. Smoker in front giving inviting smell of outstanding BBQ, with gorgeous view of Pike's Peak as a bonus. We had a half slab of ribs that were fall off the bones delicious, and a Dive a Burger which was also scrumptious and on a ciabatta bun. We also had home made cherry cake... More

the name only refers to the look and definitely not the food/service. Did go on one of the coldest nights and it was a little cold, but overall was worthwhile. Food was very good. Close to garden of the gods.

Went into the Dive after hiking around the Garden of the Gods. It was fantastic and Christine was great! Definitely recommend the pulled pork!
