Great food and service! Nice location. I ordered a salad! My friend loves fried chicken. He is picky but he loved theirs!

Always had an excellent lunch from a good selection. Have to admit that I usually ordered the special.

This is a good place for families and seniors. The rustic décor is appealing. The chicken is ideal comfort food available in two amounts/costs. Service has always been good.

After a long day of sight seeing this meal hit the spot. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. The food was great. It's hard to get real potatoes th ese days. Recommend the open roast beef

My folks always stay in the RV park nearby so eat here frequently over the years. We were last there in September and while I can't say it's amazing - it is fairly good for the $. Country Fried Steak is good - portions are very liberal and service has always been acceptable to really good.

We went to the Mason Jar hoping for a real down home meal. The meal was just okay. I don't think all of it was homemade. The mashed potatoes were real and I appreciated that. The fried chicken was okay. The chicken fried steak had a strange coating and was not very good. The cinnamon apples were very cinnamony but... More

I'd read about this place and, especially their chicken, so that's what we ordered on a recent visit. The chicken was very good-some of the best yardbird I've eaten in years. The skin was thin but crispy (not heavily breaded) with a mild salty flavoring. The meat was tender with some juiciness and not mushy or overly dry. Their fried... More

We really enjoyed this place while vacationing out west this summer, the deco was GREAT, they even let me tour the kitchen as I was in the "dreaming" phase of my own restaurant. can't really remember the food now, but the OVERALL experience was great!

Folks familiar with Cracker Barrel will find Mason Jar similar yet different. The menu is far less extensive, but the dining room is more cozy. The fresh trout can be prepared several ways but my favorite is blackened and comes with two choices of several sides. My selection of savory rice and green beans is a perfect match. The chicken... It's a diner, with good old fashioned meat and potatoes type food. The staff was excellanty pleasant!!! The gal we had for a waitress was joking and laughing and it was like having a really good meal at home with the folks. The manager was the same. The prices are about average. The portions are hugh as are the desserts... More
