Trip advisor to the rescue! We were looking for a good place to eat lunch that was reasonably priced. Gave up looking in manitou springs and found this little restaurant. The French dip was really good with an awesome sauce to make it better. Hubby had the Reuben that was very good too. Not fancy but I would say it... More

We tried this place based on an article in a local paper. The article describe the restaurant's menu as comfort food and it was. Simple down home cooking, fresh and good. The staff was very nice and friendly. Not fancy but nice and comfortable.

We were wondering where to eat and the desk clerk recommended this place. Excellent recommendation. Had the rainbow trout and it was delicious, cooked to perfection. Service was quick, water was refilled quickly, delicious rolls and cornbread. It was getting very crowded and the parking lot was full so they might need to expand it.

We ate here after seeing an ad for the "fresh wild trout." My husband catches all of the fish I eat at home and I am leery of ordering fish at a restaurant, even here in Florida. But I wanted to try fresh trout on vacation and was I ever glad I did! I chose the grilled trout and it... More

Wife and I were looking for a good home cooked meal after spending morning at Pikes Peak and we were not disappointed. Waitress was very polite, prompt, and took care of her customers. Food was outstanding! Wife had vegetable plate while I devoured the open roast beef plate. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the taste of home.

Enjoyed meatloaf, fried chicken, ham and bean soup, and buffalo chicken salad.. Portions were huge and lots of sides to choose from. You won't leave hungry and you can walk off your lunch at Garden of the Gods.

This is a good place to stop by and get lunch . I heard from a friend that we were having lunch with say they had very good rainbow trout. However, I am not much of a fish person. If you are in the mood for a burger they have a good variety of burgers. I had the teriyaki mushroom... More
