Delicious food for the body as well as the spirit. Flavors I have never experienced served by the lovely proprietor. Be sure to follow up with coffee and desert.

My buddy and I have it on our bucket list to eat at every restaurant in Colorado Springs, when we saw that there was an Ethiopian restaurant we thought that that was very interesting. We each ordered the lamb, from the Ethiopian section of their menu, 3.5/5. Maya's service is unbeatable. They have a wonderfully ambient environment as well. Definitely... More

Surprisingly I had better in Tempe, AZ where the owners are from Ethiopia. The owner of this place might very well be too (not to mention she was very polite and gracious for the visit), and I did enjoy it, but it wasn't the best.

It is a wonderful intimate dining experience. The owner, Maya makes this a family affair, with her children helping out. The service was excellent, and the food was terrific. Maya has some old style ideas about how serving should be done, and it is to the benefit of the customer.

Amazing food. Chief Maya take the time and care to spice each dish to the customer's preferred level of spicy from mild to extra spicy for the adventurous diner. If you are looking for a unique and tasty dinning experience, you will find it a Uchenna.

What a lovely place! The service is friendly and the ambiance is great. Both the vegetarian and meat dishes are delicious. I was really pleased with the degree of spiciness, and the portions are just right! Highly recommend the rosewater lemonade.

Maya, the owner is very sweet. She makes sure you are well taken care of. They use organic meats, not sure if they use organic veggies and spices though. Taste wise, its pretty good. We tried the lamb dish and the veggie combo - all were good. We were offered extra injira during our meal. The quantity is less compared... More

I went here for my birthday today with 7 other ladies. As soon as my sis asked about tomatoes in her dish, the server became rude and impatient. Or maybe she's just always that way. I've been a server, so I always try to treat my server kindly, but I've never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. We almost... More

The owner was amazing! She was so sweet to my baby and out-of-town guests. The food was excellent and well made as well. So fresh, so exciting. You could really taste the love. I had the lamb gyro and my guests had the meat and vegetable platter and another meat dish. It was all excellent. The desserts are to die... More
