I had the spicy Yebeg Tibs which was delicious. Maya the owner/cook/waitress was amazing. She opened up for just a bit longer for my dad and I to eat after they had closed early due to some circumstances. Maya talked with us after we had finished and gave us free dessert! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting... More

We (3 of us) had an excellent meal and very enjoyable experience visiting with the owner and staff. The food is very tasty and had interesting flavors, as we had the lamb, beef, and seafood dishes, and sampled each others' dishes. Highly recommended.

I am new to Co Springs area and I am thrilled to have found this place! Chef Maya is adorable and her food was delicious. Her staff was incredibly attentive to our group as well. Make sure to purchase the Ethiopian Coffee option on the menu, which is grown by her mother back in Ethiopia! It's a bit pricey, but... More

Amazing food and atmosphere. Great service and variety. Something for everyone and that's saying a lot because wether you eat Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free or all the meats there's something for you and yours. I'm already planning my next visit! Would happily order the same thing because it was so good but will probably try something new because of the... More

Truly an experience in extremes. An Ethiopian restaurant in a cozy corner of a Westside strip mall. No utensils needed for these third world dishes. First world prices. Out of this world flavors. Maia is both a gracious hostess and wonderful cook. She bows humbly at each table and wants to be absolutely sure everyone has enjoyed the meal she... More

Wow, really fantastic food. Simple, but so so good with the injera bread, which is a fermented flat bread. This place is small, with only one server and maybe 5-8 tables. The food takes an appropriate amount of time and is just amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes Indian food but might be looking for something different.

AMAZING! It was wonderful having so many gluten free options for my family. Basically everything other than desert was gluten-free! The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about ingredients. The chef came out to make sure we were happy with our food :-) The coffee and food were delicious and we plan to be back when we travel to Colorado... More

If you believe, as I do, that eating out is a multi-level experience you will not be disappointed at Uchenna. Of all ethnic foods - Ethiopian is my favorite. I was first introduced to this cuisine by my son, who was studying to be a chef, in Denver. There are several fine Ethiopian restaurants there. Imagine my delight to find... More
