Very good breakfast

Hubby and I recently returned to The Springs to stay at The Broadmoor Hotel, and the following morning we wanted breakfast and decided on Rudy's Little Hideaway. So glad we did. This is a very unpretentious restaurant, but it was clean and very, very busy on a Sunday morning. We both had... read more

Enjoyable with good Mexican style breakfast in addition to American fare. Friendly staff. But a little hard to find on S. 8th Street. Drive your high-clearance car so you can turn into the driveway without damage.

The breakfast is really good. Great tex-mex breakfast food. Any of the breakfast burritos are a win. The service is just very slow.

I've been eating at Rudy's for years and still haven't found a breakfast (or lunch, for that matter) that I enjoy more. The staff is always friendly and the food is enjoyable. On top of that, the prices are reasonable.

I visited Rudy's for dinner with my partner and friends one Saturday evening. My first impressions were lasting ones, and not in a good way. A 'good' eating experience - not excellent, but good - is a clean restaurant, good service, and good food - the basics. The restaurant was dark and dank, and the decor was early 70’s some... More

I work in Colorado Springs 2 weeks a month and have been doing this for the last 8 months. As such, I have a couple of places that I love to visit - good Mexican is fantastic - in the UK we really don't have any great Mexican food, but we know what's good & what's not good. I've tried... More

If you are looking for genuine Mexican food there are many place in Colorado Springs but this is by far the most authentic my wife and I have found. The staff is made up of about 90% family and will make you feel like you are at a small village in Mexico. They have been in business for at least... More

Rudy's new patio is open and we had some great food and margs out there. Great texmex and one of the best hamburgers in town. Great prices too.

I eat at Rudy's 45-50 days a year....I occasionally try other Mexican Restaurants...and in the Springs we have a few good ones...Many of the regulars I've recognized since the old location on Nevada...Rudy's closed for awhile years ago...A friend and I were so bummed we considered moving out of town...Every year the staff takes a break at Christmas time...The reopening... Everything on the menu is really good. Green Chile has a nice bite to it. My favorite is the cheese enchiladas with the red chile, or order it "Christmas" (half red, half green chile). The folks could not be nicer. Coffee is the weak diner style, but we're working on Rudy to bump that up.
