Unhurried Mexican Style Breakfast

I am a fan of breakfast in general and Mexican style breakfast in particular. However, it is difficult to find same (with the exception of the standard breakfast burrito) in most Colorado Springs restaurants. This restaurant has Machaka Scramble (machaka con juevos) on the menu ... and ... IT IS... read more

If you are looking for great Mexican food at a very fair price then this is the restaurant for you. To start with, the chips are made there and the salsa is delicious, full of flavor with a little bit of heat but not too much. The green chili is also quite good with some heat but a lot of... More

The menu offers a great selection of Mexican and American breakfast choices. The breakfast burrito and the chorizo scramble are personal favorites. The green chili sauce has a great flavor and a little heat that makes it almost addicting. It's a popular place on the weekend, but it's well worth the short wait that you might have.

We went there by mistake for breakfast but we were not all disappointed. There was a special with eggs, bacon and blueberry pancakes with a cream cheese sauce which was great.

Amazing Mexican food at a good price. I have been going to the springs every year for about 12 years and found rudys my first trip. I visit on every trip at least twice. Great breakfast and friendly staff. If they would just learn about sweet tea it would be perfect. 5 stars

Hubby and I recently returned to The Springs to stay at The Broadmoor Hotel, and the following morning we wanted breakfast and decided on Rudy's Little Hideaway. So glad we did. This is a very unpretentious restaurant, but it was clean and very, very busy on a Sunday morning. We both had Mexican dishes, and the food was excellent. The... More

Enjoyable with good Mexican style breakfast in addition to American fare. Friendly staff. But a little hard to find on S. 8th Street. Drive your high-clearance car so you can turn into the driveway without damage.

The breakfast is really good. Great tex-mex breakfast food. Any of the breakfast burritos are a win. The service is just very slow.

I've been eating at Rudy's for years and still haven't found a breakfast (or lunch, for that matter) that I enjoy more. The staff is always friendly and the food is enjoyable. On top of that, the prices are reasonable.

I visited Rudy's for dinner with my partner and friends one Saturday evening. My first impressions were lasting ones, and not in a good way. A 'good' eating experience - not excellent, but good - is a clean restaurant, good service, and good food - the basics. The restaurant was dark and dank, and the decor was early 70’s some... More
