Great Food

I so miss eating here since I moved back to Texas 9yrs ago. If I ever get back to the Springs this is the first place I will eat at. Love their hamburgers and fries and the open face turkey sandwich with those great mashed potatoes

a homemade breakfast or lunch is waiting for you at Sheldon's luncheonette. eggs and biscuits and gravy tasted like grandma made it. the burger I had was real beef and real home made French fries. Don't forget the homemade pies, cherry, blueberry, lemon meringue, apple. too many to choose from! please do yourself a favor, and stop in and have... More

I always come here when I visit my family in Colorado Springs because I love their breakfast, especially the biscuits and gravy which is hard to find in New York. The prices are very reasonable and the servers are friendly and know their regular customers as soon as they walk in.

Couldn't not go here again.. the service is good, the food is good and you'll not leave hungry. It's just a great homestyle cooked meal.. Good value, food, ease of getting to and folks are friendly. I could go on and on but it's basically a good place to eat... give them a try..

The place was filled with locals for lunch. The restaurant was a small old fashion restaurant. It was like going back in time where the owner and staff appreciated you being there. The food was excellent and a great portion. It was so much food that we could not clean our plates. The staff treated you like it was old... More

This is a great place. After the last time we were here we said that we have to make it point of coming here. It took about two and a half years before we got back there today, and we asked ourselves, "why don't we come here more often". This is an old school diner type luncheonette. Everything is cooked... Located in Colorado Springs, just off Highway 24 and a half mile west of I-25 S 8th street, Sheldon's luncheonette has exemplary service and food that is consistently excellent, but not gourmet fancy. Like pancakes, try their plate size whopper. It's incredible how the cook can get it cooked so evenly every time. Eggs, any way you like them, green... More

Had Jan's favorite breakfast with green chili, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns and rye toast! Green chiki was great. A small local restaurant with even an old fashioned counter to enjoy your stay.

Sheldons sure isn't fancy but the food is very good. Great service helps you to feel like your mom is fixing you your favrite lunch. Pleasant atmosphere but no frills, nothing fancy. Good selections on their menu and prices are very reasonable. Would not hesitate to try anthing and everything on their menu.

We stopped in here for a bit of lunch and it looks like a nice eatery when viewed from the outside. I had the Chicken Pot Pie special on Monday and the wife had a Tuna Melt. The portions were very generous and the taste of the food was good also. I was a bit disappointed as the pot pie... More
