Unexpected

So wonderful, unexpected flavors. Refined and delicate. Pricey, but worth it. They have wines from Spain, Tempranillos, wonderful with the red meat. Very unique and inviting decor. Definitely recommend it. I never give a 5, But if you have the money try it. You won't regret it.

This is one of those special restaurants that has a beat of it's own and obviously a labor of love for the people who own it. The menu is eclectic, something for meat eaters and vegetarians, with lots of unique twists on familiar items (huevos rancheros in a corn tortilla shell cup with homemade chili sauce). Everything was flavorful and... More

We've been enjoying the Margarita at Pine Creek since 1982 when we moved to the Springs. EVERY visit has been memorable...for food, ambiance, service, company...yes, I can even credit the restaurant with improving the company I keep. It is truly an enchanted little corner of the Colorado Springs world, a corner few would just stumble upon, yet only a minute's... More

We dined here based on the recommendation of 2 friends who used to live in the area. Needless to say, it didn't disappoint from any angle, from the quaint adobe interior to the awesome 5-course pre fix "Throwback" menus we had. Everything from our appetizers to dessert was extremely flavorful and well presented. The sole & crab étouffée was a... More

Our group of 8 had Sunday Brunch here and the service started out quick and efficient and quickly fizzled out. The drink refills took awhile and we ended up sitting a long time waiting for our checks. The coffee cake, which is served with all brunch breakfasts along with fresh fruit, is fresh made and served hot and tasted excellent.... More

I say 100% because everything was on point and top notch. We read the reviews and decided to make reservations for our family of four. The building is quaint, eclectic, and unique -- very warm and welcoming. We were promptly seated in an alcove adjacent to the live music (a flutist and harpsichordist). Service was excellent. Joshua explained to the... More

I have eaten Sunday breakfasts here for 10 years or more and attended a few evening musical performances (Irish bands) as well in the downstairs bar facility. Breakfasts are as good as can be found in Colorado Springs with a wide ranging menu and good service, everything from omelettes to "biscuits and gravy" to huevos rancheros to eggs perdu. I... More

I was born and raised in New Mexico (where there are plenty of great Mexican food restaurants) but spent most of my adult life in CO Springs. The Springs seems to think that Mexican food consists of tons of cheddar cheese, sour cream and tons of spices and especially cumin. Yuck!!!! The Margarita was a pleasant surprise. The outdoor ambiance... More

A few weekends ago I had the privilege to visit my all-time favorite restaurant once again, Margarita at Pine Creek, and started my meal with a roasted cauliflower and butternut curry appetizer. This was honestly amazing and spiced to perfection! An unexpected addition included crunchy chickpeas, with a very flavorful cilantro lime riata. (A type of sauce perhaps?) Next, I... More
