fresh taste

I liked this restaurant because the menu was unusual for a Mexican restaurant. Instead of a huge plate of greasy food you get fresh veggies and fruits in your entrees. We liked it all - except for the kids meal which was really dry. Try their pineapple salsa and their beef burritos.

We went to Salsa Brava reading good reviews but always have our doubts about mexican food in other states, we live in California close to the Mexicali and Tijuana Borders, which have great authentic mexican food.well, I wlll tell you that this place went above any ecpectations! The food was great! The carne was tender and juicy and they have... More

We just moved to the area and came in for dinner after I noticed they had a gluten free menu, they were busy so we sat at the bar, Jennifer helped us and she was amazing. She made some suggestions and when there was a little mix up with my food she got it straightened out immediately. The food alone... More

The food was great. Everything tasted so fresh and the salsa was fantastic! The pineapple salsa was the best I have ever had. The staff was great, quick to serve, but not overwhelming. Definitely will go back!

We went here our first night in Colorado Springs on family vacation. It was suggested to us by our hotel staff and we were happy we went! Our table had the Carne Asada, Fajitas for Two and the Portabella & Spinach Enchiladas. We all very much enjoyed our meals. We also started with the salsa and chips. It was good,... More

The newspaper talked about 3rd place ranking best Mexican Restuarant. So we tried it . I don't agree with newspaper reviews . I do give the waitress a top 5 as she was great . But food did not rate as good. Rice was bland the rest so so . Apple crisp however was delicious.

I hope the owner figures this out, because this was a favorite local restaraunt. Still good was the salsa and the beer we had. Both meals were terrible. I ordered the special -- a pork burrito and it came cold and meat was like it came out of a can. Wife's Baka tacos were also cold and wrapped in flour... More

Excellent service, good margaritas and well-prepared food---a good location for people going from Denver south since it is just off the express.

Dinner on a weekday night is sometimes low key. Not so with this lively local hot spot. Thursday night service was great from a smiling greeter to friendly, knowledgeable wait staff, excellent margarita-preparing bartenders . Planning to try tableside guacamole next time since the regular serving side disappeared quickly with our chips! Fun for the family or a night out... More

Wow has this place changed and for the worst! The old manager (Charles) is gone and I don't know if there is even one now. I went for Happy Hour and sat on the patio. No server came. I went to find the hostess who ignored me for five minutes while chatting with her friends. I final got a menu... More
