Good Eats

If you like potatoes, which I do, you will love this place. There are all sorts of potato dishes in different combinations. Very nice with good atmosphere.

We were looking for a pizza place to eat and not finding it, discovered the Black-eyed Pea. It was almost closing time, but the waitress was attentive, and told us about her being in the USA from the Ukraine. The food was excellent, service was great and the atmosphere was welcoming.

I ate here several times because it's just a few steps from the Hyatt. I really liked the bottomless soup and salad for lunch.

The bar-restaurant area is very nice and clean, the bartender was very helpful and explained items on the menu that I didnt know what they were ! I had a very tasty Irish Pie topped with mashed potato, the rolls and corn bread that are served with either the salad or the soup, had just come out of the oven and... More

Was just traveling through Colorado Springs and meet up with an old friend for a late lunch. Waitress was very attentive and saw to our needs perfectly. I decided to try the Shepherds Pie which was very large but oh so good. It was probably the best I have had since I lived in England. I would definately go there... More

We hadn't been to a Black-eyed Pea restaurant in years so decided to try it again as our hotel was nearby. The food was great and our server, Katie, was terrific!

Recently I visited with my family, to my astonishment it took 15 minutes before we were waited on. We counted 4 other people in the restaurant and 6 servers, wow is there any customer service anymore? All of the other servers just looked at us as if we didn't exist probably because we were not in their section. Now once... More

We had been going to Black Eyed Pea for years, slowly over time the food quality has slid downhill. It is like they just cook like robots like any other chain. In never felt like a chain before, now forget it. There are too many other options out there where we can spend out hard earned cash, this place is... More

Very nice and clean for such a busy place. Quiet too. Our server was nice and knew the menu, something you do not see in many restaurants. The Chicken Fried lived up to it's reputation, crispy coating and tender beef. The creamy gravy and mashed set the whole thing off. Did I mention the Black Eyed Peas? Excellent.

Great restaurant. We came late in the day with 11 people. We had great food and the service was really good considering we had 11 people.

Thank Hpkat
