Little Country and Good Food

My wife and I love this place when we/re in the Springs visiting family. She gets the Red, White And Blue Salad, and I get the meatloaf. Bunches of Veggies, and I ask for the cornbread. Good simple food priced well.

Had lunch with a friend and the service was great but the food was below average. I would not go back again. Did I mention this was the first time I had been there? They open for lunch at 11:00 am and I got there at noon. The restrooms were really dirty for a place that had been open for... More

This place was a surprise that we stumbled onto. Food was average, menu just like a Applebees. The service was just ok that we received. Could have been better, we like our glasses to be at least half full. I would rather go to Applebee's to be honest.

Sat at the bar and had a full meal. Bar personnel was excellent. Provided conversation and made sure food was brought out immediately. Nice crowd also.

I had fried green tomatoes and they were greasy. Not the same as the one's eaten in Castle Rock, CO. Cornbread was stale and my fish taco's were not what I expect from the Black Eyed Pea for there food. The wait staff were very good at trying to please me for the meal, but I didn't want anything else.... More

My husband and I stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We stood at the door for 5 minutes with no host/hostess in sight. When we were seated, it took another 5 minutes for a server to come by. After we were finished eating we sat and waited quite a while for our check. Another server went and found... More

I had higher expectations for this place. However, when we arrived around the dinner hour on a Thursday evening, the place was nearly empty. Uh oh...not a good sign. The server was pleasant enough, the menu reasonably priced, the food was served in a reasonable amount of time. It was just mediocre - chicken fried chicken breast, black eyed peas... More

had good service and average food here before but this time it was almost 7 PM with maybe 8 tables in the restaurant seated. It took over 5 minutes for someone to seat us, was put by the kitchen. Asked if we wanted the comp bread and we said yes. 10 minutes later just before our food arrived the bread... More
