My 2 daughters (10,12) and I went this past Thanksgiving for dinner there, and we LOVED it! for the 3 of us we got the traditional turkey dinner with ham and 2 sides and drinks and desert for under $40 including the $10 tip I left for the wait staff. The staff there are very friendly and attentive, our drinks... More

Today's traveler is often on the road for days. It is wonderful to find Black-Eyed Pea still there offering comfort food when you've had enough of fast or fancy. Our "to go" order was ready promptly and a good value for the money. Only one request I have for them, and it appears I may have to do the asking...the... More

I was so excited to find this restaurant. Ate at one in Dallas years ago. This one did not disappoint. Being from a Southeast state I don't get the opportunity often. Highly recommend.

This is an outstanding choice if you're ever in the area. The service was really good and the food was outstanding. Home cookin' at it's finest.

I was very disappointed with the to-go service at Black-eyed Pea. I waited at the bar for 3-4 minutes until the bartender came out to say I'll be with you in a minute I've got to tell someone something. He then cleaned off two place settings, gave out checks, and then took the order of a table in the bar.... More

This is such a good value for good old comfort food. The rolls and cornbread are as good as ever. I loved the chicken and always enjoy their veggies.

Picked this as i'd never heard of it and wanted to try it. Had the steak, and was cooked beautifully. Friendly staff, good food and reasonable price.

Wish I remembered his name but receipt shows waiter 315. The food was good. Liked the senior menu with smaller portions. I had pork chop with baked sweet potato. Everything seasoned well and good solid food. The wait staff was attentive but not annoying. Only thing I did not like was the limited time grasshopper pie. A frozen pie lacking... More

After a long day in the Colorado Springs area, our family group of 20 adults and kids went to the Black Eyed Pea on Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs. We were quickly seated and special requests for young children were handled without any delay. We all ordered different items and they were thoughtful enough to bring the... More
