Saturday Morning Early Breakfast

After being disappointed by being too early to get seated (7:45 am Saturday morning) at a new eatery in Old Colorado City ... we decided to try another old favorite, Bon Tons. Their two scrambler breakfasts are just the thing for a low carb early morning meal, or you can try their breakfast tamales... read more

This restaurant was in Old Colorado City. The waitress was great and informative. I had my toddler grandson with me and she was good with him. The food was fantastic and you got a lot for your money. The place was clean. I was very happy with the service and cleanliness. I was there for breakfast.

Went here recently on a day that was slightly too cold to eat outside. A pity, because the outside eating area looked really pleasant (quite a few tables, in an historic district). We ate inside, and it was nice enough (large geraniums in pots along the windows) but nothing special. Service was friendly, courteous and attentive. Portions are large. My... More

Ate lunch here recently. First time here. Quirky little place w/wide variety of options, including many vegetarian options, and even vegan options. All in our party were pleased. Amusing menus w/jokes and riddles. Can get breakfast at lunchtime, which was appreciated by some, as well. Not a chain. Parking lot is adjacent. Would return for sure.

Whenever we want to have breakfast locally we go here. We have never had a bad breakfast here. Last time I went I had the Mediterranean Omelette which was prepared perfectly. I always get a side of their green chile to eat with the home fries that comes with the omelette. Most Sundays there is going to be a wait... More

Late breakfast before leaving the Springs. Had wanted to try this spot many times, but never had the chance. Our timing was just right. We were seated quickly and the service and food were just right!! They stay busy and do have outdoor seating when weather permits. I'm looking forward to trying this again.

I ate on the outside patio for a late lunch while during the "tourist thing" on a recent visit to Colorado Springs. The day was cool, but very pleasant--perfect for outside dining. The server was very friendly, and although some other reviews seem to complain of the service, that was not my experience. I was tempted to order the spaghetti,... More

I would give this place "no stars" if I could. Don't let the cute patio deceive you. This place has terrible food, terrible service and a LOOONNNNGGG wait. After waiting at least 30 minutes to be seated the waitress pointed at our table for us to go sit down -- no menus, no friendly chit-chat, no silverware -- nada. The... More

Stopped for lunch in Old Colorado City in Colorado Springs near Manitou Springs where we live. We sat on outside patio. Varied menu with great breakfast choices. Menu has clever and humorous "facts" and can be taken home as souvenir. Server was also witty. Very reasonably priced with good portion size.
