The food was alright but there is no verity. Its not the bistro that I thought it would be. Buy some bread there. That's about all its good for.

Stopped in on the spur of the moment. Immediately charmed by the pastry counter. Ordered an apple croissant, a cream cheese croissant, a lemon bar, and a baguette loaf. All were wonderful. We were wishing we had come at lunchtime, because the menu had a lot of interesting choices.

Absolutely perfect. In taking a day for myself, I decided to have lunch alone: just me and my book. I searched restaurants in my area and read a few reviews for La Baguette. One reviewer raved about the chicken salad sandwich and that sounded good to me. When ordering, I asked about the soup of the day-- a French corn... More

I was excited to try the French onion soup but it was disappointing to see and to eat. I will never eat here again

We drove through Old Colorado City after visiting one of the best off-leash dog parks EVER (Bear Creek). Neither of us wanted a full-fledged, sit-down dinner experience while the dog waited in the car. Stumbled upon La Baguette Cafe --it did the trick. I had their Butternut Squash ravioli with a side spinach salad and my daughter had the tortellini... More

Walking thru town we saw this small Café style restaurant and bakery. We are glad we stopped. Soup and choice of sandwich were ordered. the Potato leek soup was excellent as well as the sandwich(Chicken Salad on Croissant). We took home a baguette wonderful!!!

We had coffee and a couple baked goods. They were on par with any good bakery anywhere. They are a really good option given what's in the surrounding but not as good as to making a trip to get there. By all means if you are in Co springs go there for any time coffee and baked goods.

French Onion soup and cheese fondue are to die for! I go for nothing else. Don't care for the salad or the sandwiches but those two things are worth the long drive!

Stopped in for lunch and I can honestly say that the French Onion Soup is the best I have ever tasted (and that includes gourmet restaurants). The broth is rich and savory and there are lots of well cooked onions. It was served in a crock and topped with mozzarella cheese that was browned under a broiler- It was simply... More

La Baguette is a lovely place in the heart of Old Colorado City. If you're just passing through Colorado Springs, it's a bit out of the way, but it was worth the time. The whole menu is available, which is a particularly nice feature. The omelet, served with a generous slice of cantaloupe, was delicious; the ham quiche was a... More
