What a shame!

I just visited tonight, and I have to say what a shame. The food was wonderful, but the service was horrible. Waitress acted like we were a bother. We didn't have loud young children, we weren't drinking, we weren't a loud group ourselves so it wasn't like we were high maintenance. She didn't ask... read more

I have eaten here probably two dozen times over the last ten years and every visit is the same - really delicious sushi and really lousy service. Last night was no exception. We had to repeatedly ask for things - such as getting our water glasses filled or getting the wine we had ordered over ten minutes ago - while... More

Went on a Monday during happy hour. It was busy when we first arrived. We arrived at 12:20 and didn't sit down until about 1:10. I was patient because it was happy hour and a holiday. But once we were seated, it took about 10 minutes for our waitress to get to our table. By this point we knew what... More

There is better sushi in Colorado Springs, but Fujiyama is a nice option for a good meal while shopping or after a movie at Kimball's. There are many, many creative options for rolls, some typical and some very unique. Some of the rolls are light in the amount of fish and I was disappointed that the crab rolls are not... More

My husband and I visited Fujiyama last weekend. We are sushi lovers and usually visit another restaurant in town, but we were downtown and decided to give Fujiyama a try. The ambience was very nice--they had a good jazz trio playing and the atmosphere was lively. We enjoyed the miso soup with generous portions of seaweed and tofu. Our issue... More

This is a good sushi restaurant, if not a bit too downtown trendy, the service is a bit lacking. The food is really good and the fish is ALWAYS fresh. The Seaweed salad is amazing and they have a huge selection of sushi with generous portions. The overall experience is really good.

It's sushi, how could it be so difficult to make it Gluten Free? We tried to eat here on a Thursday evening at 6 PM, only 3 other couples in the resturant when we sat down. The server was at the table quickly. There was cold air blowing from the heating vent and she moved us to another table, which... More

Such a bad experience, never again. My best girlfriend and I went for lunch there today to try it out. I had been a couple times before but been unimpressed, but everyone kept raving about it, so thought we should give it a try. They were very busy on a Labor Day lunch and we took that as a good...
