The best breakfast burrito in Colorado!

A really different kind of restaurant. The best smothered breakfast burrito I have ever had. They give you a clean plate sticker if you manage to polish it off.

I go here every time I'm in Colorado without fail. It's so good it's even worth driving from Denver.

So I was visiting a friend in CO Springs and mentioned my desire to get a good greasy breakfast. She said I had to try King Chef's Diner so off we went. The place was busy but luckily it is big enough to support a decent crowd, and we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and helpful when... More

Eclectic? Really nice place, nice staff, since 1956? CASH only! They do have an ATM there. We went for lunch which was great, but Breakfast looked AWESOME. I had some beef burrito with green chili sauce, it was fantastic. My guest had a Roast beef sandwich, excellent. Service was very good, and extremely friendly. I highly recommend a visit!

We love this place. Great breakfasts, my husband loves to get "The Grump" I love the French toast. Their green chili is amazing. The owner is almost alway around, and he often floats the dining room to check on customers. The portions are huge, you will leave full.

We just don't have food like this where I'm from. The breakfast here is absolutely amazing. Huge portions of the most sinfully tasty food. Green chiles on the breakfast burrito. French toast the size of your head. (Ok, not that big, but you get the idea.) IMHO, this is the best breakfast spot I've ever been to, and I hope... More

We visited King's Chef Diner late one night, two years ago. After trying to make a return visit for the 2015 New Year, and learning it was closed for the holidays, we were so afraid we wouldn't get to eat there while we were in town. However, we went for breakfast right before flying home and was so thankful we... More

Breakfast here is a unique experience and worth having if in Colorado Springs. The portions are huge and despite 12 US Army Soldiers eating here none of us could clean our plate despite how great the food was...which say's a lot about the portions. The Green Chile can be a bit hot so order it on the side if you... More

My wife had the Grump (some of the best tasting hashbrowns ever), I had the King Rancheros and they offer a full size, 1/2 and 1/4 size plates. The full size is huge. I tend to eat a lot with training and I was unable to finish a full plate. They do green chilies and all different kinds of deliciousness.... More

Great food and great diner ambiance. Reminds me of a tiny place my Grandpa used to take me in Gilroy CA. The portions are amazingly large. The half order on most items is still more than you get elsewhere. The prices are a tad bit higher, but you get a lot for your money. The green chili and the sausage... More
