Food is Awesome!

This is the 2nd time we've been here. I highly recommend you go in the AM, not close to their closing time. Their food is Awesome!!!!! But the day we went, we arrived at 3:40PM and was immediately informed "last call in 10 min" as I had the forks and napkins quickly placed in my hands. The open... read more

There was a SCREW in the meat!! We went here for Easter brunch with our family. My husband took a bite of his burger and a giant screw was in it!! He almost broke his tooth. They were making him a new plate and as it was on the counter we went to get cash from the atm. The chef... More

I had a good experience here. Our waitress took great care of us. This restaurant is not very vegan/vegetarian friendly; most of their meals have meat or animal by products. I'm on a strict fast for Lent and the only thing I could order was a salad (minus meat, cheese and dressing). Although because I didn't have the extras they... More

They do actually have quite a good selection of gluten free items, however, and when I called, they assured me that everything that is... More

You cannot beat King's Chef cuisine anywhere. Not health food but oh my gosh this food is of the gods. Without question King's serves the best breakfast in town at a great price. We have tried several items on the menu and every time we are blown away by how good this food truly is. The OJ is top shelf,... More

Their food is decent but a bit TOOOOOO over seasoned and salty in my opinion. Maybe its me who's sodium sensitive but, yea.

My family and friends--all came to the King's Chef Diner....The staff quickly accommodated our large party--including a toddler and two kids. The service was friendly, and the food was delicious. I loved that they had lots of different choices and portion sizes for light eaters and kids. My husband ordered the regular size breakfast burrito which could feed a family... More

King's Chef Diner serves wonderful (and if you want ... spicy!) breakfasts (I know since I've been going for many years)... but be sure ... before you get in the car to choose a location ... that you know to which restaurant you are traveling. The ORIGINAL King's Chef Diner at 110 East Costilla, which looks like a miniature purple... More

My wife and I at here once. The food was tremendously greasy and tasted terrible. I have to say that it's a popular place downtown but I can't imagine why.
