Some of the best food outside of downtown colorado springs

We used to live very close to this restaurant, so, on any given night if we needed a nice family meal- this was the go-to-no-brainer. French/american food, always fresh, perfectly cooked, and a little more than you can eat by yourself. Don't even get me started on the desserts and bakery goods... read more

I have been to this restaurant twice. The food is decent and service is average. However, both times, we had one waitress who didn't seem to be too happy. STILL, I must stress the food is good! They have a very tasty, non-alcoholic drink made with club soda, flavoring, and milk or cream; I think it is called an Italian... More

The place reminded of back home, Rhode Island. The feel of the restaurant was like something you would find in Providence. The food was very good and so was the staff. I didn't have a chance to try the deserts but they looked good.

This week we visited here twice. We ordered a whole German chocolate mousse cake for my son's birthday oh my gosh. This cake could serve 30. It is so rich and heavy. We loved it but had to freeze half! Later in the week we visited for early dinner. This place is packed early even on a Wednesday so arrive... More

I am a local resident living on the north side of the Springs. I have gone to The Marigold Café at least 30 times over the years. It is consistently good for both lunch and dinner . Just inside the door you are greeted by both a hostess and a display of all of the desserts available for the day... More

The salads are great. The breads are all fantastic. Do not leave without dessert! I make sure to come by every time I'm in town.

We asked a lady coming out of the supermarket where to find "Marigold". The best food in town she said. Haven't tried many restaurants but this is certainly a good one and maybe the best. Their sandwiches are delicious and the cakes looked extremely tempting. Regretted only later that we didn't try them Service very friendly.

Great place to eat especially if you are feeding a group with mixed tastes. I had the escargot and french onion soup followed by a hazelnut torte. All excellent. Our 11 year old had the pasta w/marinara on the kids menu-he ate it all and he's a bit picky. Featured wine was good and well priced. White tablecloths but still... More

Visited Manitou Springs for my birthday weekend and we were on the hunt for some great cake to wrap up the day. My friend googled and this place came up. We went there and got a few pieces of the German Chocolate Cake to go.... wow! It was worth the drive from Manitou just to find this place! I'll definitely... More
