Lovely restaurant and best of all, not a chain. A local's choice. Food and service is excellent, at a price which, in Denver, would be at least 20% higher if not more. There are not that many locally owned restaurants in Colorado Springs which provide the quality of food and service which Marigolds delivers. It's off the beaten path, but... More

The reviewers are right, this place is great and the prices are fantastic for the amount of food you get. The beet salad and Idaho red trout were both fantastic. Great service and large wine pours. I didn't have room for dessert but there are great choices from the bakery. Only complaint was that my trout came before I finished... More

We have eaten here frequently - we are residents of the Springs. Impressively good recipes that we frequently ask about so we can make them at home. Nice staff. Well worth the price. Informal dress, grand meals here!

After a hike up the Manitou Incline, we decided to have lunch here. And boy were we pleasantly surprised. The service was outstanding, the meals were perfectly proportioned and the price fit right in our budget. I think I may have found my new favorite place to eat here in the Springs.

When I'm in France, I'd rather eat French bread with butter than a filet mignon. I'm always on the lookout for great French bread. Marigold Cafe and Bakery makes the best baguettes in town. Don't get the wheat. Go for the Gold and get the white. They also have other tasty pastries but you can get good pastries anywhere. Get... More

Yes, it's expensive, so don't be surprised by the check. The sauces are exquisite, and blend perfectly with each entree. Look at the dessert case near the entrance before you sit down. If there's something there that you want to try, tell the dinner server to hold one for you, because it could be sold out by the time you... More

Marigold Cafe and Bakery is one of the finest restaurants in Colorado Springs. The choice of the word "Cafe" is a misnomer. The depth and variety of the menu are outstanding and certainly not "Cafeish".In addition it is one of the finest bakeries in the city. Seldom do diners leave without bring something home from the bakery. The Marigold is... More

There are other good restaurants in Colorado Springs. But this is my favorite, year after year. It is relatively close to my house, so that is probably part of it. But for every time guests are around and we think hard about where to go, it almost always lands back at Marigolds with excellent satisfaction on the choice. Casual and... More

Food is great. When I think of great salads, baked bread, and good entrees, I think of this place. Definetely consistent.
