Walter's is one of those places....a little hidden, so you have to look a little to find it in the Broadmoor residential area--a little strip mall there. But, once you walk in, you know something's special. Walter will probably greet you; the waitstaff is extraordinarily knowledgeable and the food is outrageously good. Chilean Sea Bass is as good as any... More

In the middle of chain restaurant food finally a well prepared meal with attentive and prompt service. The restaurant is well known for its lobster bisque but I decided to go for the ahi tuna in taco shells with just a touch of spice as appetizer followed by the Chilean seabass which was crisp on top and flakey moist in... The service is always top-shelf. We had the lobster bisque and shared an order of escargot. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass. I would have ordered that if she hadn't, but instead, I went with the Rack of Lamb. It was all wonderful. The lamb was terrific. The prices are high for us, but worth it for special occasions,... The best meal we had in Colorado Springs. Just around the corner from the Broadmoor. Foie Gras was better than we've had in France. Excellent service and great atmosphere.

The location is buried in a strip mall. They take your coat from you. You definitely need a reservation because its packed every night. The staff and customers are very snobbish and appear affluent. The appetizers are pretty pricey I had a butternut squash soup and a lobster bisque. Both were really good. I am a steak kind of lady... More

I found the location of this higher end restaurant odd since it is in the corner of a strip mall. I will say, however, if you could overlook the fact you are just outside a parking lot while sitting in their outside seating...the view of the mountains beyond the parking lot is spectacular. The food was very good. We had... More

Consistently good food and service. Walter himself is a reminder of just what European grace and charm is all about.

Went for lunch and the menu had lots of variety. My mussels in a creamy garlic sauce were very good. Another person had the fish tacos made with tilapia that she said was delicious. The club sandwich did not have fresh roasted turkey. The turkey looked like it had been sliced from a processed round loaf. Not what I'd expect... More

Though the main dining area has great food, my wife and I eat in the bar most of the time. It's a nice place for a quick meal. The bar menu is good and one can choose from the main menu's appetizer menu. The chef will make modifications on a dish if that is one's desire. The nicest part for... More

The ahi tuna appetizer was wonderful. The lobster bisque was good: creamy and tasty. Not the best I have had - it could have been seasoned a bit better and had a few lobster bites. The Sea Bass was out of sight! Fantastic. It was hot, and perfectly cooked -
