Great food, great staff

Our family loves the variety of foods and being able to share.... Chorizo and figs, tuna stuffed peppers, bison carpaccio, chocolate bread! Yum!

Everyone left extremely upset. The food was terrible and extremely expensive. Everything tasted like rubber and the tuna in the stuffed peppers was most certainly canned. We ordered the scallops. There were three scallops the size of nickels on the plate. Plus, the service was slow. The only redeeming was that the food looked pretty.

Maybe my expectations were too high because I generally love the tapas concept, but I wasn't particularly impressed. Although the setting was nice for a date night, my main gripe is that the food was far from outstanding. To start, my husband and I split three dishes: Goat cheese salad, the manchego-stuffed peppers and the garlic mushroom. The peppers were... More

I travel a lot and am burned out on the usual chain establishment dining. I look for new things to try and search out TAPA restaurants. Always new things to try and enjoy. As with most, this quaint spot has great variety. The TAPAteria is well established in CS and very worthwhile.

I love to nibble, so this is a great spot for me as a treat. The food is great and so is the wine. I love the new patio. It's a little pricey, but worth it.

We have many fond memories of tapas on various regions on Spain. We were disappointed by dry albondigas, burnt patatas bravas and bland tortilla espanola. On a plus, the Jamon wrapped dates were tasty. Cute place and nice staff just need more attention to food detail to warrant a spot this high on trip advisor.

This little treasure is located in Old Colorado City, which is full of charm and character. Our waitress was friendly and took care of our needs. We ordered a few different tapas including tortilla espanola, chorizo with dates, and gazpacho. It was all tasty and unique. I absolutely LOVE tapas because it provides a chance to try a variety of... More

We have been to TAPAteria on many occasions. What draws us back time and again are the food and the setting. The tapa are well constructed and use local ingredients. The grilled pardon peppers are a favorite. The restaurant is cozy but doesn't feel crowded. They don't take reservations but do call ahead seating. Recently we had a party of... More

While shopping, we smelled amazing aromas coming from inside TAPAteria! Neither my friend nor I have ever eaten at a tapas restaurant before, so we really did not know "how to do it," but we figured we'd try something new and just ask our server! And they were so passionate about what they do there - and eager to explain... More

Food was good and not expensive. Not exactly like the Spainish who use more sea food, but still good. Would go back!
