Great Food but Keep in Mind...

We went for lunch and the food was excellent. The service is great and the environment extremely clean. So why only 4 out of 5? 1. Limited menu. The house specialties are curry and a series of deviled meat specialties. Both are excellent and well worth the trip but the remaining menu is... read more

The Pros: -The food is really good. Definitely tasted fresh and homemade. Everything we had was simply delicious. The Cons: -The Price. We had 2 pieces of the Roti bread was $5.99. Yikes! We went at lunch and the prices still were steep considering the portion size. Would I go back? Yes, with a Groupon.

We stopped here on a whim and were so happy we did! The service is friendly - very warm and family like. The food is simply out of this world: delightfully spicy, richly seasoned, prepared from scratch with love. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant but very casual. Probably the biggest drawback is the lack of liquor license - no... More

We went here for our date night. It's a bright, clean, simple restaurant. We ordered Chicken Curry, Dahl Curry, and Deviled sausage. The chicken curry was really spice and it keeps burning, but we love that spice. The Dahl was very tasty, probably our favorite dish that night. The Deviled sausage was more like a stir fried sausage with peppers... More

When my family was out in Colorado Springs, we thought on having a authentic Sri Lanka meal and decided to try out this restaurant. Since I am Sri Lanka by origin, I always missed Lankan meals. From the time we entered the restaurant, it was like walking in to a Srilankan house hold. We were welcome with smiling owners. Once... More

When my friend told me she was going to a Sri Lankan restaurant, I was intrigued. Now that I'm finally visiting her in Colorado Springs, I got to try it for myself. And it was awesome! The flavors are wonderful, and we tried a lot of different things in the couple of trips I made to this restaurant. The number... More

Waaay overpriced. Combo is now $17 and the portions are smaller and come with one small order of rice; add $1.30 for a second order. Nothing special in the atmosphere or place settings; nothing special with the food; very little flavor. We arrive 7pm Saturday evening; only one other couple eating. Waiter was new (friendly but didn't know menu). Diner... More

We visited the Curry Leaf for the second time, and were, once again, very pleased with the food and the service. However, this will be the last time we visit them . . . at THIS location north of downtown Colorado Springs . . . since they are moving to the northeast part of town?! Good for them; bad for... We stopped here for Lunch on the way to Denver. Arrived around 1:15pm on Saturday only to find an empty restaurant. We were greeted very well and we decided to stay an eat. Out server was very nice and carefully explained the menu to us. My wife is vegetarian so she ordered Dahl curry (lentils) upon their recommendation with Rice.... More
