This place is freaking amazing. I don't know why it's listed as "Colorado Green Chili" on Trip Advisor because the restaurant is called "King's Chef Diner." This isn't the original location, but it's the better one because it can seat a lot more people which is a must for the tons of folks who flock here for a top notch... More

This is a great place for breakfast with a very friendly staff. They were very upfront about their cash only policy. The portions are huge so don't hesitate to request a 1/2 order.

This is a neat little diner. It's clean and efficient, friendly, and the food's pretty good too. Their specialty is their green chili and it's quite good, but a little warm for some folks, so be advised. The portions are really large; so don't be afraid that you'll starve if you only ask for a 1/2 order. It's more than... More

Very busy breakfast place. Neat wait staff who interact well with the customers. Good food. Endless coffee refills. They even provided a lid and straw for out ice water for the trip to our friends,

Stopped in for family brunch. Plenty of great food. Bring appetite and try to finish the full portion.

Cash only, but they have an ATM. We all liked out meals, coffee was good, I would go back if I lived in Colorado Springs. Go with the 1/2 or mini portions unless you are REALLY hungry.

This place is fantastic! If you are in town for only a couple days this is the only restaurant you need. Breakfast is wonderful, but sit near the bar to watch the cooks, the show is great. Just had lunch for the first time here this weekend, bread fresh, lettuce crisp, turkey BBQ was great. The had vegetarian meals that... More

What can you say about a town that gives Denny's, Chik fil A, and Starbucks 4 1/2 stars. I guess their standards are different than mine, and hey, mine aren't that high. King Chef is the one place I go for breakfast in Colorado Springs. This is the kind of place you wish you had in your town. Funky, quirky,... More

I went here for breakfast one morning to meet a friend. The staff is okay. They must have been cooking a lot of onions that morning, my eyes were burning from onions and that was all I could smell. I had the French Toast and ordered both Bacon and Sausage. I would recommend skipping the sausage and just stay with... More

I've eaten breakfast here a couple of times, and it's by far the BEST diner experience in Colorado Springs. The staff is friendly, the service is prompt, the coffee is great and my cup is always full, the food is served hot, and the green chili is outstanding. The hashbrowns are crisp, and sausage is sliced thin and fried to... More
