Generally intimate and quiet, Excellent presentation and flavor. Reasonable portions.

Special event hideaway. You will not be disappointed but could have sticker shock. Soft music and excellent vocals will accompany your dinner.

We came to the Broadmoor for Valentine's weekend and chose the Penrose Room for one of our dinners. We couldn't have chosen better. The service was outstanding without being overbearing. Judy was so nice and Wes, who made our Cesar's salad, was fun. The food was outstanding. They had a band playing all the songs from the 40's and 50's... More

The Penrose Room lived up to its reputation. Every detail was attended to and every morsel of food was absolutely stunning in its presentation, popping with wonderful tasty flavors. The wait staff was plentiful, helpful and attentive. They were always available while not being intrusive. The 4 man orchestra added to the overall experience and we enjoyed dancing between courses... More

We had a wonderful dinner. The food and service were superb. What we enjoyed was the ability to dance and enjoy some very relaxed time together. Recommend the restaurant for a special night out.

My boyfriend and I were in town from NY visiting his family for the holiday. Without my knowledge and help from both our families he planned a special night at The Broadmoor. Long story short he proposed to me outside in front of the gorgeous Christmas tree. We then went to The Penrose room where they made the night very... More

There is a reason the Penrose Room is a five-star restaurant. Service is impeccable, the atmosphere is superior, and the food is wonderful. That being said, it is a smidgen less perfect than when we first enjoyed them five years ago; that was our best dining experience ever. Regrettably that previous experience was so good that we rank everything against... More

We had about 45 minutes to burn before dinner and decided to stop in. A very nice small museum. You can walk through the various rooms to see relics of the early 1900s. I found the art work very interesting. My grandson was enthralled with the secret passageway. A short visit is all that is required, but it is a... More

First the dinning room is opulent with heavy chandeliers - fun to just see it. Thanksgiving dinner was delicious even for a vegetarian with lots of creative dishes.
