Wloved the Penrose Room Four Years Ago

We didn't eat at The Penrose Room this visit, but it was incredible fine dining four years ago. Once again, the service was impeccable, the food delicious, and the performing singer excellent.

This is one of my favorite locations on the property. Views to die for and such great good. Met every qualification needed to attain their 5 star status which is very difficult to attain. Highly recommend eating here if you stay on the property.

stayed at the Broadmoor for my mother's 90th birthday & she, my sister & I were ushered into the bar even tho we had reservations & the restaurant looked empty. We didn't want a drink & waited forever there until I finally spoke to the hostess & we were seated in the dining room at last. The cheapest dinner on... More

Have lived in the area for several years but finally made it over to try the Penrose Room this weekend. The setting is grand - crystal chandeliers, etc and they try to impress with special gestures like pillows for the seats if needed, shawls for bare shouldered women if they are cold, etc. - all very nice. We were two... More

Very expensive, stuffy, mediocre food in minute portions. The service was 5 star but the rest was 1 star. Big mistake!

I was here for a work function and am glad that I didn't pick up the bill based on some other reviews. The food was fabulous. I started off with a crab cake broth of some sort, and then had grilled chicken on a potato puree. It was delicious. I skipped dessert but my colleagues raved about it, even the... More

My husband and I really like to choose a special restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversaries. This year, we chose the Penrose Room instead of driving to Denver. The Penrose Room definitely met our expectations and then some. Our entire dining experience was wonderful and very memorable. We were seated in a small room off the main dining room with... More

Special event hideaway. You will not be disappointed but could have sticker shock. Soft music and excellent vocals will accompany your dinner.

We came to the Broadmoor for Valentine's weekend and chose the Penrose Room for one of our dinners. We couldn't have chosen better. The service was outstanding without being overbearing. Judy was so nice and Wes, who made our Cesar's salad, was fun. The food was outstanding. They had a band playing all the songs from the 40's and 50's... More
