Very nice restaurant with beautiful views but service a tad lacking and food not really 5 star at all. Took forever for previous course dishes to be removed and desserts were, in a word, skimpy and boring. Halibut excellent but bass severely overcooked. Still, might be the best available in Colorado and was very good value. Without the view and... More

Great food, service and views! We were here for a business event. I would love to come back as a couple or to celebrate a special occasion.

Opted to go vegetarian on my last night at the Broadmoor. If you want to see what first class service looks like, I doubt you'll find a better place to observe it! Understated and professional, the staff were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu. The views are breathtaking and the restaurant is very elegant. The food? I took... More

The food is expensive and not bad, but we expected better...we had steaks, side vegetables and salad... I would probably recommend eating in town.. But have drinks out by the fireplace, the ambience is worth it!

This place is FANCY. And as the only 5 star restaurant in Colorado, it does not disappoint. Each meal takes about 2-3 hours and comes with a minimum of 3 courses. There is live music and dance floor in the center of the room, and since it is located on the top floor of the Broadmoor, it has an amazing... More

The Penrose Room is a step back in time. A beautiful old room, great band and outstanding service - if a little on the sedate side. Watching twenty meals served and presented simultaneously by a troop of wait staff was almost worth the return visit. The food, however, is far less spectacular - and we've found this to be the... We chose the 7 course meal. My husband had the sommelier include the wine pairing. I didn't want to drink that much and just tasted from my husband's glass occasionally. WOW. The food is so wonderful and not run of the mill. The wine pairings were incredibly perfect. There is a band and vocalist. They are awesome and professional. People... More

Where else in the USA can you find elegant atmosphere, wonderful cooking, attentive yet not interfering service while dancing to live music with a great vocalist? No where else.

Restaurant on the 9th floor of the Broadmoor south tower. The best service we have ever experienced at a restaurant! Food was very good and well prepared. Three piece band and singer were nice as was the dancing, at least watching the couples that were good dancers. Setting is beautiful, but gives the vibe of a classic dinner club -... More
