We had a wonderful dinner. The food and service were superb. What we enjoyed was the ability to dance and enjoy some very relaxed time together. Recommend the restaurant for a special night out.

My boyfriend and I were in town from NY visiting his family for the holiday. Without my knowledge and help from both our families he planned a special night at The Broadmoor. Long story short he proposed to me outside in front of the gorgeous Christmas tree. We then went to The Penrose room where they made the night very... More

There is a reason the Penrose Room is a five-star restaurant. Service is impeccable, the atmosphere is superior, and the food is wonderful. That being said, it is a smidgen less perfect than when we first enjoyed them five years ago; that was our best dining experience ever. Regrettably that previous experience was so good that we rank everything against... More

We had about 45 minutes to burn before dinner and decided to stop in. A very nice small museum. You can walk through the various rooms to see relics of the early 1900s. I found the art work very interesting. My grandson was enthralled with the secret passageway. A short visit is all that is required, but it is a... More

First the dinning room is opulent with heavy chandeliers - fun to just see it. Thanksgiving dinner was delicious even for a vegetarian with lots of creative dishes.

Penrose Room has a lounge type singer at night which we enjoyed. Our reservation was at 7:30. They led us into a very lovely, masculine, fireplace room to have our first cocktail and they really allow you to enjoy it, so we finally asked to be taken to our table around 8 since we were hungry. We ordered the chef's... More

Had a lovely time here over candlelight and small plate courses. The band and singer were great and if I could have gotten my guy to dance would have made the night complete. The food was amazing. The chef kept sending extra courses for us to try. Very sweet! Had the seven course chefs tasting. I am food adventurous so... More

If you can tear your eyes away from the windows long enough to eat, this is so glorious a place to sit and sip champagne and hold hands, you'll be forever changed. This place really does something to you, and the good food and fabulous service just takes it over the top. It's crazy! Crazy good!! Start in the bar... More

My girlfriend and I are frequent guests at the Broadmoor Hotel and elected the Penrose Room for dinner and then decided to try the chefs 7 course tasting menu along with the wine pairings. The room is beautiful, the entertainment was great as was the food, but I found that for the price, $$$$$$$$$$$$ there was nothing served that was... More
